It gets hot
The media could not be loaded. I have seen video clips of a version with a Hi and Low speed with a digital display at the back, mine doesn't have that and it does heat up. Someone posted a video of them using it against a calendar to show it wasn't working but mine looks different.I have a cheap corded Harbor Freight heatgun that seems to get hotter faster but this one does pump out the heat. I'm sure it's not as fast or hot but for a $30 cordless it's good. Mine is the M18 version and trying it with a normal 3ah and 6ah high output made no difference, id be curious to see the difference between this and the actual m18 version to see if it's drastically different. All in all for $30 I can't complain and I am satisfied

Weak
Super weak, doesn't melt shrink wrap unless you got 5+ min per small section of wrap, will not melt the solder on solder connectors. Maybe my daughter can use it to try doll hair or something cause this is horrible

Pretty weak compared to the real thing
This heat gun just doesn't quite have enough power to do it's job. It will eventually melt heat shrink, but it takes about 3x as long as my cheap Harbor Freight brand corded unit. It is handy having a cordless version, but it needs more heat output.

Bye it
I recommend this for any do it yourself guys great for shrink wrap great for bending pipe. Great for keeping your hands warm very cheap, but very dependable.

Works great for heatshrink
It is a battery vampire but any battery powered heat gun will be. It is styled like a drill. Where the high low gear switch would be it’s a high low heat setting. There is a safety for the trigger which gets annoying but it also has a button to lock the trigger on.

It's ok
It's ok, nothing like a plug in heat gun it's a lower heat but does get the job done .works well with the milwaukee m18 batteries which is handy to use at different locations
