These sails are a little thinner than the last ones I purchased. This is great because they do not sag and bow as bad in Florida rain storms. The rain goes through them well. They do let a little light through at 1 ply like advertised. If you double them up they block 100%. Live these as long as they last a few years. Shipped fast and had great sizing and color options compared to other stores on Amazon. I also appreciated the fact that their store didn't post political garbage like another that sells the same items.

The material is tough and it tenses great. Also, it provides the shade that is expect and it feels cooler.As a matter of fact, I bought a second one.The color doesn't affect the quality of shade and for the price is a deal!

ShadeMart 18' x 18' x 18' Grey Triangle Sun Shade -- These shade sails are good for many locations. The particular shade sail associated to this review will not be installed until summer, however a quick inspection of it shows it is just as good quality as the rest I've used. The photos shown are shades I got on n Amazon and have installed in my back yard in Texas. My back yard is small and mostly concrete patio. The summer sun on that concrete can sometimes make it unbearable to be outside there. I attached these three shades to the patio cover and then to the fence posts which are set into a concrete retaining wall. Doing this on a sunny day, I could feel an immediate temperature drop. I use stainless steel chains to attach the shades because it's easier to use than rigging cables and I like the look. Shading the patio actually made the interior of the house cooler because that heat was no longer radiating to the windows.

Once we go this, we had to open up and inspect. First, the color is amazing. 2nd, the material is better then we expected. very heavy duty,. We went ahead and strung up temporary as we had a slim windy day at about 10-15mph. It held up perfectly.What I can say so far is that it is well made and very heavy duty. We will have this over a sitting area at our fire pit in the yeard. It will be about 12ft high and not right over the fire of course. But it will give us some shade and rain protection when it sprinkles.And my suggestion is, do not leave this up for winter at all. If you get snow and ice. If all you get is rain and some cold or light snow you should be fine. We ar eup north with over 100 inches a season. So it will come down and only be for summer,.

Pretty basic canopy, doesn't look like anything out of the ordinary. Wish the hardware was included, but it's another $20, ouch
