Pandora Paradise
This will be my first time playing this game but I've seen all the reviews on YouTube with the likes & dislikes but I'm a fan of James Cameron's Avatar and I like what everyone at Massive has done with this game. Plus I'm excited for Star Wars Outlaws well done Massive!

On A New Level For Gaming
For starters I gave this a 5 star because even with the cons this is an absolute must own game. Will get it out of the way first because I think most can see it’s an obvious….graphics. The game pushes consoles to a whole new level which truthfully I didn’t think was possible yet. It is pure stunning in every way. Zero screen tare, jaggies or lagging. It just plays flawless. It’s such a huge game with endless variety. I’m close to 100 hours into the game and still discovering new areas, species and world items. The best part is these areas all bring a shock level when seeing them for the first time or even after the 10th time you’ll stop just to look at the incredible art styleSoundAgain a simple answer is amazing. Zero issues of any sort with sound from the world to the guns. When things explode on Pandora it rivals any game I’ve seen yet with massive explosions and a lot of them.Controls are spot on with little learning curve. Maybe a hour and you’ll be zipping around everywhere with ease. Now for the pros/cons when I first bought this game I read a bunch of people input online that it was short. Get that out of your head completely. This game is so so so stupid huge it amazes me on a level of Skyrim size but bigger. There’s just so much to do I end up just playing a mix of story, side quests and exploring in no order. It tackles open world very differently imo. It has a storyline but the whole game your in survival mode taking out RDA an restoring the world which when this happens will go from rotten everything and dead animals to it recovering an being beautiful again with new places unlocked. There’s a main villain but the main problem is saving Pandora. Now for my personal opinion which might not be other peoples thoughts but the whole buying/giving/inventory system I find to be the worse of any game I’ve ever played. It’s just terrible plain horrid to me. There’s just so much. The crafting upgrade system/skill set is fine but I never feel in control of a battle unless it’s all out warfare. I have upgraded my character to take out most anything within the game. Granted I’m half way through and it’s getting better by each unlockable. But to me there’s no indication if my shot will take out an enemy or damage them then alert reinforcements. All the weapons you’ll use because everyone of them has such a different approach. For buying and selling approach isn’t in this game. Instead you donate items for clan favor which I love the idea but hate it in almost every way. It could be simplified along with the inventory system by so much. For the cons though do little if anything to persuade my opinion. I still feel this is one of the better games I’ve ever played in my 40 years of gaming

Great graphics, essential for any Avatar fan
The graphics in this game have been nominated as the best of 2023 by Digital Foundry (THE experts in video game graphics), so you're in for a visual treat with this game. What separates this game from other open-world games is the level of detail in the flora (plants) and design of the world. James Cameron and his team used real science to design the world of Pandora, and it's all there in this game, hundreds of different plants and animals that all interact with you and each other in interesting ways. There is no other game I've played that lets you "commune with nature" the way this game does.Ubisoft does get in its own way a bit by making the "game" portions very similar to its other games - poor writing, repetitive activities, unimaginative quests. I didn't care. Mostly, it's like any Assassin's Creed or Far Cry.The closest similar game is Far Cry: Primal, with lots of thrown weapons (more thoughtful and fun that guns) but far less combat, and an ecosystem more fleshed out that even Red Dead 2 or GTA (just the ecosystem part). The best part of the game is immersing yourself in the world of Pandora. The game has the jungle biome of the first movie, plus 2 more complete new biomes that are just as exciting and well-thought out, with different Na'vi clans to learn and commune with.In all, a must-buy for Avatar fans.

Typical Ubisoft
Annoying enemies, Boring Base takeovers, Frame rate drops. Stay away from this game
