I just got out of the hospital with borderline pneumonia from a very bad case of the flu. I had not shaved but as soon as I felt like it I did. I got three nicks and Glyder’s Styptic Balm works great! It hardly stings and it closes the nicks with alacrity! I recommend this product!

Product works just as described, but is very crumbly and you lose alot of the product every time you try to use it. I would like to see it made creamier like a lip balm and maybe that would conserve the product. Only other draw back was the size. These are tiny tubes, about the size of a AAA battery. For the price, I would have liked to see a bigger tube.

I have had the Glyder's Styptic Balm for about one week and have used it twice so far. It works like magic. Stops the bleeding from shaving nicks immediately with no white residue like you get from a styptic pencil. It is obviously more expensive than a styptic pencil but I expect it will last much longer than the pencils do.

I've used the powder and stick form and this is by far the best! It rolls on like chapstick wood and instantly stops bleeding. I use it for razor nicks.
