had to format it twice but after the last formating it's pretty stable now.. just not sure of the long term..

I initially had some problems but with some effort I was able to fix them. It is somewhat flimsy.

So I'm not an expert, but I do know how to use a flash drive. I bought this to back up my photos, music and videos that I had just had converted to digital. I have spent hours setting this up and putting the files on it, then the trouble began. I first tried to change the name of a folder. All of my photos disappeared. I renamed the folder to what it was before the problem started, they were stiff gone. I put them all back on. Ejected the drive and checked this morning. All of them were gone again. The only thing that seemed to be hanging on ok was my approx 20 Gigs of video. I reformatted the drive and started over, only to find out I wasn't able to rename a folder. What the heck? I have zero confidence that this thing will safely store my precious memories, so it's being returned. After reading the reviews from the techie folks, I'll spend a little more money and buy a more trusted brand name.

I purchased two of these drives to use to store my music. I should have known that something was not right when it took forever (seriously over a day) to copy the music from the hard drive on my computer to the thumb drive. Then when I went to use these I found that many of the sub directories that contained the actual songs were empty. Avoid these at all cost.

Awesome storage device!

Simply put I bought it to save to and transfer data. It lost the data. Never had has a flash drive to this before. Do not buy if you want you date safe while on it

Corrupted all the files I was trying to store,some folders were even showing up empty even though the space was used up from them. Ive reformatted the usb drive several times and its still trash.
