Seems strong and durable. Has many small and large compartments. I had to get use to the fact it will not stand alone unless it is filled but that’s the way these bags are designed they just keep expanding as one gets filling them. Stuff will get lost in them unless one is more organized than I am. Looking forward to using it. Like the flag as I’m patriotic.Buy one today if you need one you’ll like it!! Thanks

Extremely feature rich and awesome value but not an expedition bag by any stretch
This immediately struck me as an awesome pack or bug out bag. The fabric is rugged and it is absolutely loaded with features. I'll let the product description give the details, but the sheer options for clipping or strapping or hanging items on this 'tactical' pack are extraordinary. All that for currently just $32? It's amazing. However, for all the functionality, there is one key piece I've learned from experience to look at in a tactical backpack and that is where the shoulder straps attach, especially on the top. That is where the weight bears down. If you carry considerable weight and walk for miles and miles the stress points really take a beating.Genuine military packs are designed with heavy reinforcement where the shoulder straps attach. After all, soldiers may need to tote very heavy items like ammo. This pack unfortunately has no such reinforcement. As a result while it should be fine as an airline carry on bag (assuming it meets dimensional requirements) or a bugout bag that works to throw in your car, if you need to take everything you can and head for the hills in a SHTF situation this bag isn't going to cut it, just based on the failure to reinforce the shoulder straps. Mounting this bag to a frame and then using real Army shoulder straps attached to the frame would work. That's an option I personally have at the ready for all my backpacks and other gear, a genuine pack frame and genuine shoulder straps such as LBE.I do like this pack and like it quite a lot. It's a pity they didn't put more effort into shoulder strap durability even if that would mean spending less on bells and whistles. It's still great and well worth the price as long as you understand the limitations, that the word "tactical" is very misleading. If they tried to get a military contract for this bag they'd be laughed out of the room. "Tactical" is not about looks!Still five stars based on lots of options, great looks, and great value proposition considering slightly over thirty bucks.Let me add that if you do seek a backpack that can handle lots of weight and trekking around a mountain for days on end, then go with genuine military surplus. There are a variety of packs US and foreign that are designed for just that.

I Say, “Bag One” [FIVE STARS]
ELFTREE calls this their “45L Military Tactical Backpack, 3 Day Assault Pack, Large Army Bug Out Bag”. “Large” is a relative term... You can certainly get a lot of stuff in this bag. I’d guess the volume is roughly comparable to a small ALICE bag. Use it for “bug out?” I don’t see why not. Camping stuff? Sure. But I’m certain it can be pressed into equally-useful (though perhaps more mundane) domestic service as well—carrying textbooks and school supplies, organizing the first-aid and roadside-emergency items in your trunk, or for lugging your laptop and accessories, notepads and pens, and your lunch to and from the office.I count no less than five secured storage areas, and within many of them, you find additional organizer-pouches comprised either of fabric or netting. Thus, this bag is not just about an empty volume to fill with your stuff, it offers the promise of keeping it all well organized. The bag features numerous MOLLE attachment points on the rear and sides of the bag. Add additional pouches, containers, and accessories to your heart’s delight. The build-quality is what I’d expect from “military style” bag. Is this “Mil-spec?” I don’t know, but the materials, construction, and execution are similar to MOLLE equipment I own that IS, in fact, “Mil-spec.”The carry straps are all adjustable--two of course for the shoulders, but a belly and a breast strap to boot. Once on your back, this bag isn’t coming off unless you want it to. I have a fairly large build... the bag is comfortable on me. Given all the adjustability, I don’t know why this bag wouldn’t work equally well for persons of smaller frame/stature, but I can’t personally speak to this. This bag is not waterproof, but to the extent that synthetics like nylon do a fairly good job of shedding water, I suspect a hike in some light rain or snow is not going to present any risk to the bag’s contents. If you expect to be wading across rivers or spend days/weeks in monsoon conditions, that’s a different matter. You’re going to need some kind of cover, or another bag entirely.

Excellent backpack; new "daily driver"
This is really an excellent backpack for the money (~$30 as of the time of this review). The material seems quite durable. Not that I have fully put it to the test on a "3 day assault", but it survived a "5 day conference" with aplomb. The size is great for my use case (work computer and commuter bag), with plenty of interior room and organizers, with the ability to add quite a lot more via the Molle attachments. I kind of would have liked to have seen an external water bottle holder built in, but then again, I guess that's what the Molle is for (and what I have done). The sizing is about right, if a touch on the small side. I am a big guy (6'6", ~350+ lbs), and for me the waist strap was a touch too small, and the straps for the shoulders could be a touch larger. I believe I can lengthen them though easy enough with some replacement webbing... at the price point, I'm not going to complain that they didn't account for someone like me so far off the right side of the bell curve in terms of size.Anyway, hard to go wrong with this for the price!
