Lyve from Steel Town

I have to say this is probably the best mixed and engineered CDs I've ever heard.It's like you're actually there at the concert. To boot, Ronny's brother is absolutely awesome as a vocalist as well as the band. People, do not fret that this band isn't the original......they kick it. I love this CD as loud as it will go....well, with a little help from Jim Beam if you know what I mean...talk about taking the stress off ya from a hectic week. Just buy it, you won't regret it and you heard it from me first!

Im sorry to say i was a casual skynyrd fan until this summer 2013 .For the first time they came to brooklyn.i saw them live for the first time .Best concert i have seen in years .First concert in my life led zeppelin 1977. Now i am catching up getting all skynyrd cds and dvds.this cd is great ,a very good representation of there live show..However i strongly recommend everyone to see them live.

I saw skynyrd with my best friend as a wedding gift and they were absolutely awesome

I had heard the CD of this concert many times and was looking forward to seeing the performances. The filming is one of the most amateurish concert films I've ever seen. Poor editing, poor lighting, all poor camera control all detract from the experience. It was still nice to see, what I could of, the concert. Sound quality is late 90s quality Dolby surround; OK but not better than the CD. The surround effect does help give more of a concert feel. Definitely a low budget production so don't pay too much for this. Still an enjoyable concert.

Great live performance and the quality of the recording is excellent.The choice of songs was thoughtful however it should be a continuous player and not broken up between the songs.

I have only listened to the first disc, but man the sound is AWESOME its like they are in a studio, and the songs are GREAT ones. Must have been a HELL of a concert !!!!!
