I've used this thing for a week now, hundreds of openings/closings with no issue. It feels sturdy overall, has a good weight to it and really seems solid. Screws may need to be tightened periodically, but that's not unusual and after a week none of the screws on my unit have loosened at all. The switch to deploy the blade requires enough force that I'm confident it won't open in my pocket while also not being so much that it's a pain to use constantly for a 10hr day. Also, I saw a few reviews saying standard blades won't fit this unit. I have not had this experience. Apparently you need specifically a 60mm blade, I don't know what the industry standard is but the 61mm blades that my company uses in all of our box cutters fit and function perfectly in this frame. No trouble at all with it locking in and staying in place. I've used one everyday this week to make sure it wouldn't fall/jump out or jam, and it didn't. The 5 blades that come with it are also great quality. Sharp and sturdy. 10/10 for me, if this mf stops working I'll buy another one. Love it.

The knife as a whole is amazing. Action and blade holder all work and are durable! Locks and clips well with what is offered on the knife! I took a gamble with some 3rd party sk5 blades off of Amazon and they are the same exact fit and finish as the ones that come with the knife! Go to the "KOYOK" store on Amazon and order the "60mm" SK5 blades if you want the OEM fit without having to modify the blade holder or your workshop utility blades!! OEM blades are exactly 60mm, so even a 61mm will not sit flush. Their alternate style(green knife on caresso love) probably takes the same "60mm" blades as well. I wanted a quick action and replaceable bladed knife and this fit the profile for the money! Hope this helps anyone on the edge with buying this knife! ●Bottom blades in the picture is the OEM blade sitting over the KOYOK blades! THEY ARE EXACTLY THE SAME SIZE!

I had high hopes for this utility knife, and when I received it the action on it was amazing, so cool, OTF style utility knife. But I could immediately tell the mechanism that holds the blade would not be able to handle any kind of real tasks other than cutting cardboard. I was proven correct when I tried to use it in the field for the very first time after only having it for a week. When trying to cut drywall and applying pressure to the knife, the mechanism that deploy the blade will stretch and pull out of the knife further than intended, and the supplied blades will pop out frequently. After trying to cut just one 16“ x 16“ square the knife is useless. The mechanism will not deploy the blade in and out anymore. I had purchased two of these because I thought they were so cool and gave one away as a gift. I’m gonna have to let that person know not to expect much and just keep it as a novelty item or a fidget I toy.

I love this as a box cutter! One of my coworkers showed me the scalpel version and I immediately pulled out my phone and ordered the razor blade version. It’s sturdy and operates perfectly. I wish the grip was slightly longer. Otherwise it’s fantastic!

Pros: Solid deployment and retraction of blade. Very sturdy. Cons: Surprisingly difficult to activate with thumb (hopefully it loosens up a bit with use) Square shape not very ergonomic or comfortable in hand. SUPER difficult to get new blade into/out of housing (I was actually very nervous I was going to seriously injure myself trying to get it seated correctly) Overall it's something I'm going to try out as EDC. I will update this if my opinion changes either way in the future.

Cool knife and fun to play with. We purchased a few for the warehouse team and they all eventually break with use. I still like mine, but it eventually become a knife that cannot be put in your pocket. The blade will get stuck eventually.

Great compact knife. Solid build, cuts great. I use it at work everyday, and carry it at night. It’s not the best self defense item, but it wasn’t built for that. You always need a knife, and thats what its made for.
