There was no instruction in the box but I read the description and found how to get the watch started. I have perhaps a little bigger than average wrist and the band is snug. Do you happen to have extra links for the band? I suspect no but that's ok. I can still wear it.

Great mechanical self winding watch. Keeps accurate time and winding once a day is fine. Looks great and works great. I really like it.

However, it stops 4 or 5 times a day! Have complained to Amazon but no one else has the problem.I will keep it anyway because I like it but I have to be sure that I have another watch on hand as I will miss my appointments.

I bought this watch to replace quartz watches as these are difficult to replace batteries now, went for this watch being an Automatic Mechanical Watch with no Date as this is difficult to read now. Other than remembering to wear so to energize the system.
