Sad that this well built looking device, has such functional flaws.
This is the second time I’ve given it a try. The first one literally had fallen apart before I took it out of the box. The second one simply malfunctioned on almost every occasion.Back to the drawing board for sad smoky dog.

It's ok
So it holds about 2 tall glasses of water. So you gotta undo the thing, pour water, use new CO2 for every 2 glasses. Another thing - when you screw on the gas, don't do it all the way, stop as soon as you hear gas going into bottle. Or you will loose lots of gas. No matter how good you are at it, you will get barely carbonated water - nothing like bottled sparkling water. I didn't mind it, but the whole refilling this heavy thing few times per day became annoying really quick. And results are not worth it. So I switched to sodastream.

Don’t do it!
I bought one and it drooled water everywhere. Replaced it. Replacement was also dripping everywhere, but in a slightly different way. Tried to make one working version with parts from the two. The “new” version was somewhat better but almost as bad as the original. Send the second one back too. Go look at the Sodastream Aqua Fizz with glass, not plastic, bottles. Much better.

Poorly designed and leaks
Update. I'm junking it. The feed tube is an inch or two too short, the head and handle leaks both CO2 and water. It doesn't charge enough with one charger, and leaks with two. Back to ISI.I'm on the fence about this product. I like the capacity, I had a .75L one before, this one is a full liter. That said, it's already broken with the feed tube falling off the gasket. When you go to charge the siphon, the feed tube would disconnect from the gasket and descend into the bottle -- thereby making the CO2 charge useless.I'm replacing a ten year old ISI stainless steel siphon that wore out and started leaking. I used it almost every day.

Good quality
I had a less expensive metal one, but it rapidly deteriorated and had corrosion in the bottom of the bottle which tasted awful. This product has a glass bottle with a tough metal protective shield It works great and is a much better value since it won't corrode in a few months like the ones with a metal bottle.

It's pretty and it works. But,
Well, it's quite heavy however, I do kind of like the weight. But the little rubber foot continually comes off and it's quite annoying. It is made with a fair amount of plastic. I think a better choice could be made by the manufacturer. Also, the cap for the CO2 valve is quite smooth and kind of a pain to get a grip on to remove occasionally. Overall, not what I was hoping for for one of the most expensive carbonators on amazon.
