I bought two of the 12,000BTU units at the start of the first heatwave of 2023- we think they’re amazing pieces of kit! Very heavy for what they are (28kg each) but they keep our bedrooms lovely and cool on these hot summer nights. We struggled with the exhaust being out of the windows so ended up venting these through the walls in our home and now we couldn’t fault them at all! The app is a great extra piece of technology and means we can turn them on before we get home, and as we have them connected to Alexa; we don’t have to fumble around for the controller in the night if it gets too cold- we just ask for it to be turned off.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The media could not be loaded. TWO month after purchasing and just after the return window closed, the heating function stopped working completely, making the unit completely useless in any heating function.A rattling noise from the rear ducting appeared at a similar time. There are no error messages being displayed, however the power button LED helpfully flashes as a notification of its fault.The air conditioning unit is still in very good external condition and has not been damaged or misused in any way, so the fault is clearly in the quality of the product.We have contacted customer services who requested video evidence of the fault. We provided a 5 minute video that clearly shows the unit's malfunctioning, but have not had any reply in terms of what the technical issue might be. Instead, we have been offered £35 (!) towards the costs of a local repair which we find borderline offensive.We have brought the issue to the attention of Amazon customer services but are still waiting for a response.If the seller is not willing to replace what is clearly a faulty product then this seller should not be trading.Do not buy these faulty products that are made in China.

Absolute life saver in this heat, makes the room nice and cool within minutes. Easy to use app and remote. You can control the A/C unit in the app from anywhere in the world with is perfect if you want a nice cool room to come home to! And the best bit.... its sooo cheap to run! Doesn't gizzle eletric like I thought it would. It is a little Loud when on full power but nothing to dramatic, my only problem is the exughst tube is a little short, I have high windows and the tube is about a meter too short, easily fixed by buying and extender but for the price the manufacturer should really look into this. Its also a little heavy but it's an A/C unit so what do you expect. Other than that it's honestly amazing.

I received delivery of the ACU in the winter, so I wanted to see how it performed in Heating Mode. It made a repeated clacking noise like a solenoid operating nearly every time before the fan came on, but it did provide some heat. After a few days the temperature setting could not be adjusted, so I decided to return it before a time limit expired.I couldn’t find how to get Giantex to collect it, so I booked Parcelforce. Some days later Giantex or Gaintex returned the cost of the ACU to my bank account, and later still part of the return carriage cost. I found the return process difficult and would have preferred Giantex to have done it. I would also like to have known what the fault was and whether they could have fixed it.
