This product works great at a fraction of the price of other big lights!

It worked great for a month and then died. Not a bulb, a metal piece broke loose.I have 1.5 acres in the country. I have two bug zappers. A city acre and a country acre aren’t the same. Country has much more bugs. Zappers go constantly.I think this would be good for a city acre.

A year after I puchased this bug zapper, the unit failed (bulb no longer lighted and it was not a bulb issue). I requested warranty service. After a bit of dialog, the unit was promptly replaced. It arrived a few days later in good condition and is still working well today.

This product actually get the flying fruit flies. If it ever stop working; I will buy another one.

I’ve had bug zappers similar to this in the past and so I decided to order one of To control the gnat and mosquito population in the living room. The first one arrived on time, I got it all set up exactly where I wanted and tucked the electrical cord behind some things where it couldn’t be seen and when I turned it on it was completely dead on arrival.Not a big deal, these things happen so I initiated a return in exchange for an exact model replacement. The only inconvenience was that in order to not spend any money returning the original one. I opted to take the first one to Whole Foods and return it there, which was annoying, but not the end of the world.I just received the replacement and before I did any setting up or wire management I plugged it into the wall immediately and guess what? DOAThat’s about it for me trying this product out. I am done with this and once again, I will be inconvenienced having to return it to Whole Foods or pay money to have it picked up from my house. What a rip off.

I bought this light because it was on sale. The first evening that I put it out on the porch it killed so many bugs that I couldn't even see the bulbs inside the mesh. Ten days later, it's still zapping so many bugs that I have to clean it each day because there is no more room on the mesh to fit any more bugs. Kind of a pain to clean (mostly blowing off the carcasses with breaths of air). Almost all of the dead bugs are a type of mayfly that explodes every hot summer evening. I haven't been able to tell how effective it is with mosquitos cuz it's always clogged with the mayflies. I need to get about 6 more of these lights to clear the area.

The media could not be loaded.  Works really well only thing it does not last very long and it’s very cheap plastic. Plastic broke the first day I got it. It still worked but just hanged it where nobody accidentally touch the wire part. Unfortunately I had it for 2 months and the light went out. Not sure if bulb is replaceable if and where and which to buy. I would rate it 5 stars if plastic was a little stronger and if light bulb was replaceable and not to pricey. I’m just disappointed it lasted such a short time.

This summer, we had a lot of mosquitoes. I ran our propane mosquito magnet which didn't seem to catch many of them. So, I bought this one to catch more. As soon as I pluged it in an outlet, it started catching mosquitoes. It even catches moths and other flying insects, too. We run it every night and it always catches lots of them. I throw dead mosquitoes and moths in our pond for the fish living there.

If there was a way to remove the entire plastic cover to clean it would be much better. My machine is full each night, sometimes it needs cleaning twice, we have lots of bugs.
