I always used the original Beauty Blender, but this time when I needed to purchase 3-4 new ones at a time, I wasn't really trying to spend $60 for it...I opted for these as a cheaper alternative and I'm very impressed. Although they seem a bit stiffer than the original Beauty Blenders, they soften up. I also wet them first (like most people.)I'm actually not sure why these are so much cheaper, if the other ones are twice as much because they are made with better materials or its just a brand name thing... but these truly work just as well.

These are my favorite makeup sponges. You can reuse several times, they last a long time. Better than the beauty blender brand

Been using these sponges for years and they never let me down . I change them out about every month or 2 for sanitation purposes but I love how they blend my make up & set my face .

I go a bit against the grain because I like sponges to be a bit more porous than the traditional " beauty-blender" density. These are what people expect though, a dense sponge but in a very small size. I think it's perfect for smoothing out around the eye area.
