I Have Found no Fault with this Light
I bought this light primarily because it can be mounted on the bottom of my Garmin out front mount. I only use the flash mode for daylight riding and therefore can comment on how it works at night. I tested, but did not install the optional remote switch. It worked as advertised. I do like the fact that when you turn on the light, it returns to the last used mode so you don't have to cycle through all of them to get to the one you want.

Bright, lightweight, and doesn't take up much handlebar space
This is a very durable light that's bright, lightweight, and waterproof, a good combination if you spend any amount of time riding in the dark.Mounting the light is quick and easy using the grippy rubber strap that's fixed to the base of the mounting hardware. The light slides onto the base and clicks securely into place. Because no tools are required, it's also easy to remove the base and mount it on a different bike at a moment's notice. The wired remote uses a simple rubber o-ring that hooks to each side of the remote button. Oddly enough, the wired remote doesn’t let you turn the light on and off, but it does allow you to change the intensity of the light or activate the flashing light modes. At 600 lumens, you get a fair amount of brightness and a good field of view on the street. Off road, I'd say that it's bright enough to be used as a trail light, but in continuous high mode, you might not get enough battery life out of it for longer rides. You do, however, have the option to use an external power source such as a USB power bank.Materials and construction quality are excellent, but there are a couple of issues with the design. I have some concerns that water resistance could be compromised because the rubber seal on the back of the light has to remain open when the wired remote is plugged in. Also, I would have preferred a USB-C port rather than the USB-Micro connector that's used for the remote and for charging. Not a big deal but it seems that most accessory manufacturers are going to USB-C and it would be helpful if they had standardized on that. But to be fair, none of these issues are deal breakers, only suggestions for improvement.Overall, this is a very well made and versatile light with some neat features that will make night rides much safer. Recommended.

Powerful light source. Solidly built. A bit pricey.
This bicycle light is very solidly built. Metal, not plastic. It is USB rechargeable using an included charger cable. The light source at its highest intensity level provides a very clear view of what is ahead of you during nighttime darkness riding. The ON/OFF/MODE button located on the light allows selection of various light intensities by cycling through with each button press. There are 3-levels of brightness (high, medium, low), and two strobe modes (slow pulse, fast pulse). Shut down is by holding down the button for a couple seconds. The button also serves as a status indicator of the light's charge level. For example, the button will glow flashing Red while being charged, and glow steady Green after fully charged. While mounted on bike, the button will turn flashing Red to indicate when the charge is getting low (< 30%).The instructions indicate that while using the light, if the charge level gets low the light intensity will automatically go into a Power-Saving mode to extend the charge but still give you some light (i.e., reduced intensity) to help you to reach your destination. The light attaches to the bike using a mount. The mount is attached to the handlebar using a rubber strap that can be adjusted to various handlebar diameters. The light itself is then slid onto the mount. The light can be removed from the mount without having to remove the mount. There is a wired remote Mode button to control the light. This is offered as a means of selecting the light mode instead of using the button on the light itself. The button is easily attached using a rubber O-ring. The remote-button allows the rider to place it at an optimal position on the handlebar. This can be very convenient for night riding as you can place the remote button close to a thumb position where you could easily feel where it is.One dislike of the remote-button is that it only controls the light Mode. It will not turn ON/OFF the light itself. That must be done using the button located on the light itself. Seems odd, but the designers may have had a reason for that operation. (NOTE: I would NOT consider that a deal-breaker for purchase.)I should also mention that instead of using the micro-USB port located on the light for the remote-button, you could instead attached a power-bank should you need an extended power-charge time.I do like the fact mounting of this light and the remote button is easy using rubber strapping instead of screws. No need for a screwdriver. Can unmount and remount simply with your hands. In summary, a very nice light. Very good brightness levels. Easy to mount. I have not used any other bicycle light so I cannot compare the build quality or the light intensities to other lights. This light does seem higher priced than many other offerings but the quality of this light may merit that extra cost. Recommended if looking for a very good bicycle light for nighttime riding.
