Misc Oak And Glass Display Cas

Based on some of the other reviews, I bought this hoping for the best. The case is actually very well made of solid oak. Very nice looking. The foam is very stiff and makes it pretty hard to close the lid over the knives, but over time it compresses just enough, and holds the knives in place very securely. I don't see anything wrong with it, and will probably buy another, although I do wish it was about ten dollars less.

First thing, the box is not felt lined. It had a piece of white foam across the bottom of the case with a thin layer of red foam on top.One side of the case (on the inside) the wood was very uneven. Poorly made. A huge disappointment and now I have to pay to send it back.Star Rating: 1

One of the hinges was bent and wouldn't close. Not the quality we were expecting and very disappointed as we have had such good luck ordering from Amazon in the past.

I'm very impressed with this display case, the quality is very good, has a very tight seal also. Very nice size! This was a gift for my son and he really liked it.

The case is sturdy and well-made. The red "felt" is actually a thin piece of red foam...disappointing. It makes the overall case look cheap. I will keep it since Christmas is next week, but I will purchase a piece of real felt to replace the foam.The description of this product is a bit misleading.
