I tested the paper with my fountain pens, from fine nib to firehose, with minimal show through on the reverse from the juiciest. The cover is cardboard and you can cut it if you need it to slide easily into a leather cover.

I had received a Day timer planner and they only offered date calendars that were like journals. After spending days trying to find a planner refill that was not a calendar, but a standard journal. The reason that it was so hard to find the journal was because of the size and Sagoo had a 6.5 x 3.7 inch sized journal.When I received the journal, I was extremely impressed by the quality of the journals. Each order is for 3 journals and they are properly packaged. I placed an order for a second shipment and because of the size requirements I may place another order as I have not been able to find this size and quality of journals anywhere else.
