So much thick lather! Wow!
I have soft water and perhaps that played a part in it. But I was blown away by how much thick, rich lather this little bar of soap made! I just got my hair wet and then rubbed the bar at my roots and along my hairline (places that get oily and tend not to foam up great with liquid shampoo on the first wash). Then, I rubbed my scalp with my fingers and this amazing amount of thick lather emerged! I couldn’t believe it! I pushed the lather through the rest of my hair (medium length medium coarse hair) and and then rinsed it out easily. It feels so clean and my scalp is “activated” (for lack of better term). Like, I’m aware of my scalp and that isn’t a thing I have ever experienced after washing with expensive salon shampoos. Cool!

Tiny, yet effective
Been trying bar shampoos since last year and this one is comparable to good ones I've tried. Smell is light & lathers well; leaves hair and scalp feeling clean & refreshed. Ingredients are quality which is the most important part.

Product shrinks once you get it out of the paper
Product works great but shrinks once it hits air. It took a couple weeks to notice something weird. We had only used a couple times and then it sat in the shower a few weeks and after that it started shrinking. It was odd. I don't plan on purchasing again.

LOVE this eco swap!
This Zen Day Hydrating Shampoo Bar comes in a cardboard lidded box with graphics and product information printed on it.- lathers well- hair feels clean and moisturized- great for sensitive skin- hydrates and does not leave hair feeling dry- this has become one of my favorite go-to bars of shampoo!

Nice product, but expensive considering the small size.
Hi friends! Today I want to share with you a product that I’ve been trying out: the Hobe Labs Zen Day Hydrating Shampoo Bar. This is a bar soap that you can use to wash and nourish your hair, and it smells amazing!I’ve always been a fan of natural and organic products, and this one is no exception. It contains a bio-ferm herbal complex that provides key nourishment and nutrients to your hair and scalp. It also helps build strong hair that is shiny and healthy. The best part is that it’s so easy to use. You just wet your hair, rub the bar on your scalp and hair, massage it in, and rinse it out. It lathers up really well and leaves your hair feeling clean and soft. You can also use it as a body soap if you want to.I love how this shampoo bar saves me space in my shower and reduces plastic waste. It’s also great for traveling, since you don’t have to worry about liquid spills or TSA regulations. Plus, it lasts a long time, so you get more bang for your buck.I wasn't a fan of the price, though. Almost eight dollars for one small (4 oz) bar of soap is over my budget. If you’re looking for a trendy and eco-friendly way to nourish your hair, I highly recommend the Hobe Labs Zen Day Hydrating Shampoo Bar.I hope you enjoyed this review and found it helpful. Thanks for reading and have a zen day! 🙏

Works great!
I haven’t been using bar shampoo for very long but I really like it! I try not to wash my hair more than about 3 times a week and with regular shampoo after a couple days my hair starts looking and feeling dirty but with this bar I can go 3-4 days and it still looks and feels clean! I love that it’s natural and has a clean scent that’s not overpowering. It lathers pretty much as I except a bar shampoo to but it cleans really well and rinses out with no problems! And I can easily take this on a trip!

‘Clean’ scent, rich/dense lather, rinses well
I have become a fan of shampoo bars over the last couple of years - they are convenient, take up less room, and don’t use plastic - yay on all of this! Male here with thick but short hair - the bar lathers well - it is a rich and dense lather… may be a bit too dense if you have long hair (and especially if you have long and thick hair). It rinses very well though - even though the lather is dense it doesn’t take extra effort to rinse (at least it doesn’t for me) and it leaves your hair (literally) squeaky clean. The scent is hard to describe and the only thing I could come up with is ‘clean’ - there is a *very* slight hint of a minty scent (probably the tea tree oil), but it is very slight… it mostly just smells ‘clean’ - I realize that isn’t particularly descriptive, but it is just a fact - it doesn’t smell floral or herbal or sweet or citrusy or any other discernible scent - it just smells ‘clean’, although it isn’t an overly strong scent. All in all I kind of like it - definitely unisex. I will also add that the bar is slightly larger than almost all other shampoo bars I have tried so hopefully it will last longer too!

Suds well & rinses well in hard water; really like the scent
Both my fiance and I very much dislike strongly scented shampoos and soaps (we use unscented Dove, and sometimes will try a scented Dove). When I first got this and unpackaged it, we both thought the scent was going to be way too strong. But after unwrapping it and letting it sit in the shower overnight, it's fine. I think the scent had just built up in the sealed packaging. I can smell a slight and pleasant scent in the bathroom from it. I really like the scent. I ended up using it as soap all over my whole body. It's hard to describe. It smells clean and and soapy I guess. Doesn't smell like anything particular. Not like citrus, or botanical, or perfume or cologne. Kind of reminds me of Ivory soap smell. After showering and drying off, I can barely smell it if I put my arm to my nose. Not overpowering at all, to me anyway. My fiancee doesn't smell it on me sitting next to me, and she only smells it if I put my arm to her nose. She likes the scent as well.We have hard water, and most name brand soaps don't suds up much and/or don't rinse off well and leave a film on our skin. Some soaps leave so much of a film that I can see it on my hands after drying off. This soap quickly got very sudsy, and it rinsed off well. My hair and skin feel noticeably conditioned too.Whether or not people like/dislike scents varies a lot, but we like this. Shampoo bars seem to be expensive vs regular liquid shampoo and bar soap, but we'll enjoy using this and might get it again time to time. The bar does seem dense and heavy, so I'm hoping it lasts a long time.
