In hindsight for my area I would choose some a bit sturdier do to frequent winds. I'll probably end up removing glass as due to rain & wind I have to clean them frequently.

Needed something for my patio and these work great - using battery operated candles so not sure how well they would work with real flame. Glass is not difficult to insert - just make sure to fold the holders back all the way before inserting the glass and wear the gloves - the glass edges are sharp. I would definitely purchase again.

I have them on , y patio with flameless candles in them! Dramatic and beautiful, AND SAFE

I only received one lantern, even though I ordered and paid for three and the one lantern was broken even though the packaging was fine. I never write reviews but this one was so bad I had to warn future buyers.

Ok these are beautiful looking, but don’t look too close!I would say the bronze metal housing itself is solid. Each of the three lanterns are a blend of dark bronze and copper which is stunning. The part I disliked were the glass inserts. Some were loose upon arrival which allowed them to shift while in shipment. They are all held by two metal tabs on both the top and the bottom which I needed to wiggle open to slide the glass back in place. The process caused chipping in the glass corners which fell as tiny pieces all over the lantern bottom and floor. The latch is also very flimsy and seems like it could break off if you’re not gentle. It is a steal of a price for three, but you really get what you pay for.

Just in time for me to add red candles for the holidays. Did arrive with several corners of the glass chipped, and part of the frame bent. My daughter said, send it back back! But honestly, it put me in a festive mood and I'll live with the few accidents.

Ok, so word of warning - the glass in these are LOOSE! As soon as you receive then, press the metal holders tightly against the glass - top and bottom, 2 per area, except the smallest lantern with only one per area. I ordered 2 sets to begun with. But had to send one set back - totally broken. Reordered another set with fingers crossed. Came in just fine. Honestly for the price point, you can't heat these. My husband says our front porch looks like a Hallmark movie - lol!!
