Had an old one
But it was starting to rust and this is great product for making lump free gravy. I just wish the handle was sturdier

Great kitchen tool.
I saw Giada using for mixing light duty sauces and eggs. They work great and really mix well.

Works well
Best for containers with depth. Cleans well, with water rinse at sink.

It won't stand up by itself
I like that this was stainless steel. It works well but I got this to replace one that I used to have that wasn't stainless steel and the chrome coating started to come off. What I loved about my old one was that it would stand up by itself in a saucepan or a bowl. The new one absolutely does not. While it may not seem to be a big deal, this was a feature I really liked and was very handy, especially with a gas stove. Sometimes it's handy to just leave the whisk in the pan standing up rather than pull it out and get goo on the counter or make room on the spoon rest. If it lays down on the edge of the pan, the heat from the stove heats up the handle and you can't hold it anymore so you either have to hold onto it, or put it on a spoon rest or the counter. This probably wasn't on the spec sheet for the designer so I'm not throwing it away or anything, just wishing it was free standing like my old one.

Great for eggs liquids
Great for eggs just like using a egg beater. Great for mixing liquids not good for adding dry ingredients

diameter of approximately 2.25 inches
like it's coverage of the bottom of a pan; so much more effective than a spoon.

Great little worker!
Used to have one many years ago. Lost in a move. So glad to discover again. Wonderful for beating eggs.

Great little whisk
My 52 year old rotary beater broke and I couldn't find a replacement. Not exactly what I was looking for but beats a couple of eggs better than a fork
