It's looks like a well built USB3 hub with an M2.SSD with a small footprint (small enough to fit in in a holder on a laptop) and has a reasonable speed. It worked flawlessly for three months, and then it started sporadically connecting (failed USB connector). However, after talking with Essager, they quickly sent out a replacement unit which is functioning perfectly again.

Got the 8 in 1 and I blame Amazon for letting deceptive advertising go through. The internal nvme is not seen at 10gb/s (900+ MB/s ), but at 5GB(440+MB.s) . So does an external nvme through the data usb-c port.Disappointing to see Amazon behaving just like the pirates @ AliExpress and Temu !At least it delivers the other (traveling) features: secondary monitor and flash reading/writing...hence the 3 stars.

I have two laptops - one doesn't have usb-c. I also have a laptop dock that is usb-b.That said this works perfectly with my usb-c laptop. It has two usb-c ports - one for power and one extra. When I plug this into the extra usb-c, even with the other dock running three monitors I can get a 4th monitor on my system. However, that's the only way I can get the display to work with this. If I use a usb-b to c adapter the only thing that works is the spare USB ports. I even tried to power the hub and it still doesn't run the display. Not even the VGA.This makes sense but I wanted to point that out.Overall this works great with a USB-C system but turns into a glorified usb-hub with non USB-C connections. If you're looking to use this with an adapter on a non-usb-c system it won't work. Otherwise, the price is great for what it does and the price is really low for a slim and portal docking station. While a USB-B hub could work on either system this only works on the USB-C so I can't say it's very versital.The metal feels sturdy and it travels really well. It hasn't let me down yet.

This is my second device in just over a year. It works great for a bit and then random ports stop working intermittently. Now the USB-C Data port just doesn't work.Gets quite hot even when just using one usb port! ！Not recommended！！！

This thing just generates heat, even when not in use. Do not recommend buying

I'm impressed by how small this device is! It's replacing my larger docking station and performs better with more features. I connected it to my Macbook Air M2 USB C port and connected the HDMI cable for my external monitor. I also connected three USB devices, including a mechanical usb keyboard and mouse. Everything is working perfectly and the device isn't overheating.

Using it for extra storage for my ally does the job bit big but no complaints 5 stars would be perfect for laptop gamingWaiting on ally compatible internal ssd prices to calm down a bit

I bought this to try out on my steamdeck as a possible replacement for my external nvme enclosure that I use that would allow me to plug in a battery pack or wall plug without disconnecting the drive it was a bonus that it could be used for video out on the go, the issue is that the Steamdeck does not put out enough power over USB to power the NVME drive without providing external power to the PD port when using this hub. my desktop PC has no problem doing this but trying this with a surface laptop produced the same result as the Steamdeck, the manual states that it requires external power to use the NVME, however promotional photos show the hub being used on different devices including a phone without the use of external power, this is slightly misleading, I did have doubts when I ordered this that it may require more power than the port could provide and may require external power to function correctly so I went in expecting this as a possible result I think it would be better though if the seller made this clear on the listing page, especially since the manual does state this. that said the NVME performs well when working I was able to achieve diskmark scores 1000MB/s which is about the best you can hope for on a 10Gbps USB connection and slightly faster than the conservatively listed 900MB/s in the listing.

The media could not be loaded.  Me fascinó funciona bien a mi IPHONE 15 PRO puede grabar video en tiempo real dentro externo NVME 500gb también puede mover fotos video al externo para dejar mas espacio libres mi celular, ya probé conectar teclado y mouse se puede escribir como si fuera mini computadora cel, conecte micrófono usb-c funciona bien y conecte al monitor o televisión y se baja bateria, la conecte recargar bateria sin problema y también ya probé disco duro z x externo usb 3.1 se ve todos archivos excel, word, imagenes, videos, etc y se puede copiar lectura y escritura mover interno nvme o mover al otro disco duro de todos esta igual al computadora

Todo funciona, solo no importa que ssd utilices, llega el momento en el que deja de detectarlo.Imagino que por sobrecalentamiento.
