Beautiful Solution to an Eye Sore. Ordered this item as part of my side yard beautification plan :-) the item was delivered next day, and the owner of the store texted me personally to make sure that I had ordered the correct sizing. The customer service is fantastic. He even offered to install it since I live in South Florida, where the business is located.I purchased, two units, one for my central AC and another for a split AC and they’re both equally beautiful. We bought this because our AC unit is placed directly outside our living room window- it looks awful. The panel I most cared about was the panel in back that is between the unit and our house. This particular panel provides less coverage in order to allow room for the hoses, and my guess is, most folks are less concerned about this angle. Unfortunately, it makes zero difference when looking out at it-you can still see the entire back of the AC unit! The other four sides are great. The one side we cared about? Not so much.

The product is very well made and fairly easy to assemble. A few cautionary notes however. Because there is no back panel on the product it is a bit flimsy laterally from side to side on the back of the cover. Not a problem if you never expect to have any load on this cover. I live in an area where we get lots of snowfall and was concerned the unit would bend under the load of a good storm. To preclude that, I attached 1 inch square stock along the side of the unit to have the load carried better. I did this on both sides of the cover, bolting it in at the top and the bottom. I also added a diagnol strap from one corner in the back and attached it to the concrete with an anchor bolts. This stiffened it up substantially. It is now sturdy enough to stand on and/or support a snow load. It is a bit of a design flaw in my estimation, but if you don't live where snow falls, or have concerns of a load on top, it should not be a problem. I do think the manufacturer could have stiffened it up where the cutout is to be stronger. Additionally, they should provide a way to diagonally strap the back to stiffen it as well. I also purchased a couple of L brackets to the open end in the back to secure the unit to the concrete base. The last small complaint I have is that they provide wing nut type bolts that are a bit difficult to hold when tightening the bolts that hold the unit together. All in all, with the exception of the structural issues, I'm happy with the cover. They were a bit slow responding to some questions that I had prior to purchase, and some of the photos on the website do not seem to show what appear to be modifications to the shape of the side panels at the cutouts. It is bigger than expected. My fiance is left handed and had a hard time putting it together. He took roughly 2 hrs. It gets easily scratched. Not sure if it was worth so much money but I need it to keep kids from trying to put anything in my A/c unit

This product is high quality, from the packaging to the product design and aesthetic. I wasn't sure how this would impact airflow, but after installing it, it's clearly not a concern at all. The louvers on the top of the cover are very spaced out and won't restrict the air. I installed it as soon as received and it made a big improvement to the backyard.
