Oak Slate Design Long CD Rack - Modern Contemporary Style

The shelf arrived a lot earlier than expected, in 16 days instead of 6 weeks. All was packages accurately and safely. It came with a receipt, a personal letter, the full range description (the magazine rack looks very nice indeed), and how to care tips. Overall, I am impressed with the customer care.The shelf fits well in my study, looks nice and sleek (good craftsmanship!) and suits perfectly for the intended purposes. I store books which are currently in read on it so they are always at hand.It is local UK produce which is a good reason to buy Oak Slate Design products as gifts or souvenirs.I am really pleased with the product and service of Oak Slate Design and can recommend it to all. This is a fantastic product in every respect, beautifully made and eminently functional. The materials are second to none. I bought both the long and shorter versions. Oak Slate Design were good enough to combine postage. The items were sent swiftly and in extremely secure packaging; the book racks were encased in plywood, tissue paper and bubble wrap. On opening them, the air was filled with the smell of treated oak - wonderful! Indeed, it amounts to perhaps the most satisfying exchange I've had on Amazon with a third-party seller. I cannot recommend this seller and their products highly enough!

What a beautifully made book rack, I am 'chuffed to bits' with this present to myself ! I purchased it to keep all my dog training books tidy and to hand for the course I'm studying and it holds them all with ease, looks good and appears very sturdy. It is a quality item with a lovely finish, I can't stop looking at it. Also, the packaging was done with a lot of care so there was very little chance of damage in transit; it arrived in perfect condition as a result of the extra care taken and I was very impressed. The other available items from this seller look just as good and would make great gifts, I will certainly be reordering. I was also very happy with the price I paid which was very reasonable for such a nice item.

This long book rack is exactly what I needed. I use it to hold CDs but it can easily hold books, in fact it did until I changed them for CDs. It holds a surprising amount as well. It is very smart and looks amazing on my deep slate window sill. Although it is of a modern design surprisingly, because it has such clean lines, it blends in well with the cottage style decor of my home. The slate is thinner than I expected but it appears to be very strong and so far there have been no problems with it. I really like it.

I love my new shelves - I bought two in different sizes and they are perfect to store the books I want easy access to, ones I'm currently reading and for my notebooks on my desk. The quality is excellent, exactly as described and they look expensive- they were delivered quickly and well protected in the box and I really liked the personal touch, an envelope addressed to me with a thank you letter for purchasing. I have now ordered the magazine rack as I am so impressed.

Fed up with a pile of books sitting around my conservatory I started searching "small book case" & came across this rack. Thought it looked cool so made the purchase. I am so very glad I did. It has a really classy look & made solid. Perfect for what I needed & guests have even complimented on it. The way it is packaged to guarantee safe transportation wins my award for customer service. Might splash out on other matching items from this range soon, maybe the plant pot holder. Delighted with purchase & it also arrived quickly.

I was very pleased indeed with this product. The photographs online dd not really do it justice. The quality of the workmanship; the beauty of the slate, the oak, even the metal fittings at each end. A strong, 'simpl' design; beautifully product. Form and function perfectly matched. This was just what I needed. Supports a full load of books without problems, and looks very fine on my work table. Highly recommended.

We are delighted with this product. Contemporary, well made, looks great. Ideal for the home office or personal space. It have circa 26 average size books for reference on the shelf to give you an idea of how much capacity it has. The book rack was beautifully packed for safe transportation, very much personal touch of the maker and seller. Great. Would highly recommend.

Das Regal ist schön und entspricht der Abbildung. Es kommt sehr gut verpackt an, optimal gegen Lieferschäden geschützt. Der Nachteil ist, das nirgends etwas angebracht ist, an was man das Regal an die Wand montiert, auch keine Schrauben, Dübel oder zumindest Tips/Beschreibung liegen bei. Das bedeutet ins Bauhaus gehen, beraten lassen, Regal anbohren, richtig ausmessen damit die Löcher links und rechts in der Waage sind, aufpassen dass das Holz nicht splittert .... Aufhängen. Endlich fertig. Wer gerne bastelt, eine Affinität für handwerkliche Tätigkeiten hat - prima! Ich erwarte von einem Regal in der Größe und dem Preis zumindest die Aufhängung inkl. oder mindestens eine Montageanleitung vom Hersteller für den nicht Hobbywerker.
