Clean, easy to serve, she seem to like the pork flavor the most and the chicken the least.

I bought this to try out with my dogs. They seem to like it, so I will guess the flavor is good. It is easy to pack when I am on the road and take the dogs with me. It is easy to prepare for them to eat and it doesn't require a lot of time to do so.

My dogs love this brand. They never seem to have upset stomach even tho it’s raw and I feed kibble. One dog is a picky eater and usually needs wet food in addition but these are a shelf stable dry option that’s super convenient for travel or even training. I feel good giving this to my dogs because the recipe seems wholesome. There isn’t a strong smell and they keep for a long time. My only struggle is the price, it’s not affordable for a lot of people and it’s geared toward smaller dogs in price and packaging. If you’re like me and can’t afford to feed raw or fresh, giving a variety of nutrients and toppers replacing at least 30% of your dog’s diet it still makes a big difference in their health.

We have used Primal toppers for our dog for a while. She seems to get digestive issues with all dry kibble. We started cooking her food at home, which wasn’t too bad because she is a small dog. She got better immediately. We were, however, concerned that she might not be getting all the nutrition she needed so we started adding Primal Toppers to her food. She loved the taste and never had a digestive issue with any of the flavors. Sometimes it is a little inconvenient if we are traveling to have to have fresh food, so we found this. Our dog loves it. We know she is getting the proper nutrition and it is easy and convenient to feed her. It is a little higher in price than regular kibble, but the benefits are innumerable. She acts and looks much better-shiny coat and great attitude and energy level-when we feed her this or add the toppers to her food. This food is filled with all natural and organic real food. It is just freeze dried. It can be fed dry or moistened with either water, broth or milk. I highly recommend this product or any Primal pet food products!

I have two 80+ lb dogs, so this is just not affordable as a meal on its own. However, as a topper it is amazing and the dogs get super excited when they see the bag coming out because they know how yummy their dinner is going to be. I do about 1 1/2 cup of their regular kibble and then add about 1/2 cup of this along with pork bone broth to hydrate it. They absolutely love the days they get their special dinners.For smaller dogs, this would be much easier to use as a complete meal, and I would highly recommend it. Even as a topper, it is still a great addition. The ingredients are above average and freeze dried food is so much lighter so it is really easy to transport. You cannot compare the amound of food by weight, but this bag gives a decent amount of high quality product for the price.

This is like any other freeze dried food with the exception that my dog will not eat this one

seeing as how we actually have ram and lamb friends living on the same property, i'm fighting a lot of guilt in writing this but..... these are her new favorite. and she's so picky! i can't believe she loves it this much, so pleasantly surprised. tested it out by letting her smell it, not only is she more used to other forms of flesh, she is also unfamiliar with freeze dried foods. as soon as she sniffed it she took it from my fingers, something she also rarely does, and she ate it right there on the spot. i knew then this was a winner. she loves it both dry or mixed in a brine or broth, she's pretty much onboard with any version as long as she has her new favorite snack. they pack really well, hardly smell like anything, so taking a scoop to go is not a huge deal, which is cool. and they work more like treats dry and a meal when wet, so it's really got a lot of ground covered. needless to say, we found our new brand

Primal makes high quality food in both raw and freeze dried form. I have used both and continually purchase the freeze dried for the convenience when I can not feed raw. This form of the Primal freeze dried food is in small cubes that are easy to feed. I use this for training or to put into enrichment toys. I find the food to be the perfect size for training my fifty-five pound dog without filling her up too quickly. I can also put the pieces of food into my pocket or treat pouch easily without it making a mess. The food pieces are easy to break but not so soft that they fall apart. I also find the food to be of high value and my dog is eager to work for it. Overall, I find this to be an excellent freeze dried food that doesn't include added synthetic vitamins.
