Miraculous healing supplement for my dog.
I have found this a really good product, in fact it was remarkable in its healing and health benefits for my lurcher who had serious bladder problems. Anti-biotics only kept the infections at bay for short periods. She suffered repeated urine infections and a bladder full of debris (revealed on a scan) which the vets thought was bladder cancer after processing her tests. I immediately started her on Cranimals, having researched it, and her urine infections stopped almost immediately (I gave her the full amount of dosage for her weight stated on the product daily and continued this as a daily supplement). She had no side effects. Her bladder became pristine quite soon, completely free of debris and no sign of a growth - whether there was cancer there or not we are not sure, but the vet said they were 94% sure that there was. Added to this, my lurcher's fur on her stomach grew where it had been bald and her fur generally became profuse and thick - I presume due to the antioxidant effect in Cranimals. I know this sounds like an unbelievable magical story, but I can assure you it is absolutely true and not exaggerated in any way. I am so grateful to Cranimals as it was a life-saver - the vets gave her 6 months to live, but she lived on for years. I don't know if this success would be the same for all dogs, but if your dog has urine and/or bladder concerns I would definitely give it a good try. When I used to buy it for her it was only 1 pack each month for a 23-25kilo dog for £16 or £17. If your dog won't eat the powder in food you can mash it into a pate or cheese ball or in whatever food they like.

Wow, this works!
My 5 year old Lhasa-doodle suffers from recurring urinary tract infections and has Struvite crystals in her urine. A year ago, she was seriously ill following surgery to remove stones from a packed bladder. Afterwards, the vet said she must go on a prescription diet but the dog refused to eat it (she is a fussy eater anyway but having read the ingredients, I don't blame her on this occasion). So, I have been feeding her home cooked food or raw meat since then. She seems to be in good health but recent follow-up urine checks have shown increasing amounts of crystals and a very high Ph which meant her urine was alkaline. The vet has said that crystals don't develope in acid urine but there was no way to make this happen without the very expensive and absolutely disgusting prescription diet.I am a retired nurse and know that cranberries are often recommended for healthy bladders in humans, so I did some research regarding dogs and discovered Cranimal. The vet was not impressed and pooh-poohed the suggestion that we give it a try but I went ahead anyway. The result was mind boggling! I tested the urine before I started giving her the daily Cranimal and the Ph was off the chart. After just 4 days it had dropped right to the lowest reading and subsequent tests have shown that it remains there.The only problem is that, as I stated earlier, she is a fussy eater, so sprinkling it on food never works. I soften a slice of cheddar for a few seconds in the microwave then roll it up with the powder in the middle, rather like a sausage roll and feed it to her a bit at a time. Tablets, disguised in peanut butter are much easier

Verdict = unclear
So my dog has had recurrent UTI for 2 years. We're still trying to stop her having blood in her wee. After numerous bouts of antibiotics and after she went off the prescription diet given by the vet we thought we'd try a more holistic approach with a recent UTI. She has been on antibiotics this whole time still but we've been adding this to her diet too. So far, no difference I'm afraid but we'll be keeping using it as our vet has assured us it's definitely not making her worse. I'm hopeful that eventually I'll be able to update this review eventually with a good result.

Preventive measure
Owning a dog breed that can be prone to bladder stones, and previously owning one who needed two operations to remove them, I give this supplement daily as a preventive measure, sprinkled on food. Quite expensive but less so than feeding the specialist foods only available from the vets and operation costs if stones develop.

Caution - High Fat Content (not a negative review)
Unfortunately I can't really rate the product for how it works because when I received it I noticed it has a 9% fat content which meant I could not use it for my dog as she has Pancreatitis and has to have a low fat diet. This info was not on the product details, if it was I wouldn't have purchased it. However Amazon were amazing and gave me a full refund. All I can say is Cranberry in other form does seem to help with Bladder crystals so if fat content is not an issue with your pet I would definitely try it

Bought for my cat who has occasional urinary tract problems ...
Bought for my cat who has occasional urinary tract problems. I mix some in with his food daily and he doesn't seem to mind the taste. I thought it quite expensive to buy, but you don't use a lot per day, so it does last quite a long time. Much cheaper than a vets visit.

great product!
i continue to buy it for my dog and has improved his bladder problems. I am continuing buying it again and again as a supplement! the price is a little bit high for me so I could probably use a bigger package or a smaller price

Good product. Great for elderly dogs
Used this, mixed with a little yoghurt, for my elderly Jack Russell. It really helped support her urinary system until she passed away at the age of 19, she was starting to leak a little. She was a fussy wee girl but she was happy to stuff the powder mixed with her yoghurt every morning. I would certainly buy this again if the need arose
