Got this for my car that doesn't have bluetooth audio (only calls) but has a headphone aux in but latest phone doesn't have a headphone out.this adapter lets you listen to audio from your phone whilst also charging - a must for having active sat/nav on long trips.sound quality given as 4* but only because it's not going to be a premium DAC at this price. Audio quality is good enough for the car as to be un-noticable.Untested: The cable presents itself to the phone as a headset. I assume it has a TRRS connector inside for a headset (headphone and mic) but I have not yet tested that, nor if the phone can detect the lack of a mic in that scenario (and can utilize the on-board mic when making a call.) You may need to switch from the headset for calls.So far it's worked perfectly on a pixel 6a (RIP pixel 4a :( you'll be missed... ) however it's only been a few long drives so hard to say about durability, but the cable feels well made, not ultra cheap junk like a lot of these are. The braiding is a nice touch.

This item works perfectly as it’s planned to do and is a really helpful little gadget. I’d recommend this to anyone that’s looking to be able to use their iPad and the headphones and charge their item(s) all at the same time.
