A friend of a friend told me about these pillows. My wife was asking for more comfy pillows for our bedroom. So....although the term bamboo and pillows didn't quite compute to me...I figured I would try it out because my buddy vouched for how comfortable they were. After ordering them, they arrived. They looked so thin & hard, when I opened them from packaging, I thought there must be a mistake. Removing them from the air tight packaging reviled a metamorphose not unlike the Caterpillar/Butterfly miracle that we all learned about as children. It slowly morphed into the softest, billowy pillow I had ever had the luck of owning. Hats off to this company and hots off to any future owner of these "Bamboo" pillows!

Another item that I got lucky with and caught a return / damaged package listed at half price!I absolutely love these pillows. The only thing I dislike about them is that they don't have a zipper for the internal case that holds the foam inside. If you want to add or remove any of the foam you will need to tear a small hole along the seam and reseal it however you will or you can just remove the internal casing and put the innards directly into the zipper case I guess. I ended up removing some of the foam from my pillow and putting the stuff I removed into the other memory foam pillow I had bought from Costco which is not shredded inside but the shredded addition to it was actually quite nice.

If you have back problems, this is a must-have! DH woke up complaining aboutback problems due to career. We purchased these for one of our homes and having a second home we travel to, we purchased another set to have at the other. No matter which home we are in, we will have these to make sure his spine is aligned while sleeping.How they were packaged: They are compressed and tightly rolled to minimize the box size. They came in a zippered sleeve so don’t be alarmed when you pull them out of said sleeve and they look flat. Just shake them out and put them in the dryer for 20 minutes on LOW heat. The movement will plump them up. Remove them from the dryer and set them aside an hour. They will continue to plump up as more air is absorbed into the pillow.These pillows are zippered.The Shell is a soft, quilted loom with the word Bamboo printed on them. They also have a Bamboo branch printed on them.These are excellent for all types of sleepers: back sleepers, side sleepers, etc...Saved to my list and will recommend to my friends and clients!

pliable memory foam conforms to the shape of your head ? it felt like one huge solid piece of foam with hardly any give to it. the pillow was too firm and no way to adjust it. Using your own pillow case made the pillow firmer and taller. my neck was at a bad angle and woke up with a stiff neck. put a zipper on the part of the pillow where the form is, if it indeed shredded form we should be allowed to take some out. The way it is now the pillow feels like one solid piece of foam.

I have purchased soooooo many pillows through the years and this is the first one I LOVE. Highly recommend. Be sure to get the one with memory foam.

Had a hard time getting it out of the bag and eventually had to cut the bag open (bag material is very poor quality). Pillow filled out to full size after 2 days. Cover is soft and pleasant to touch. Foam inside is sturdy but conforms to the body kindly.I drool in my sleep and so far, it hasn't penetrated the cover. Glad I got a king size as it is almost the size of a body pillow.The only reason I marked this review down a star was because I've had a bamboo pillow in the past and this one is not as full. I will update my review in regards to durability once I've owned it for a while.

Arrived as expected. Fluffed up nice just using air fluff cycle in the dryer! What a good nights sleep now. Super easy to clean
