Liquitex Professional Matte Super Heavy Gel Medium, 473 ml, beige

Easy to use in my different art projects. Just wished the pot was never_ending.

I have never used this medium before and used it to create the base for a lemon and it was perfecttttt!!! So easy to use, not dry get but I applied it very thick. Very fun to use and you don't need to be an expert just a fun medium to play around with :)

I like thos matt medium. First time to try any kind of a gel medium. It's good

Poor quality does not work well

My painting had a lot of gloss areas that didn't look good with the subject. I brushed one coat of this on it and it all became matt finish as I wanted. Couldn't have been easier to use. Brush on one thin coat and it's done. I will buy more when needed.

LOVE this gel medium - it is matt with a satin finish but still a little key to it. Not keen on the feel of it afterwards but i varnished over my collage work with a satin varnish. It is non spill and odourless. It flows on to chipboard, wood and card / paper very well but you need to ensure a smooth flat finish with your brush or it will dry with streaks of white gel medium with the transparent look your wanting.I wouldnt use it on big pieces of work but smaller cut outs and other types of media. The gloss is better for larger pieces.Great pot size and opening is good for all brushes and sponges. Ive already used my gloss and matt up and ive only just bought it. Will be back for more. Highly recommended - dont go immediately for the most expensive makes - not always the best :-)

Was pretty good stuff to work with and held my stones in place too, to make a beach ready to add resin for the ocean lapping up on the shores with waves 🌊

I was previously using podge modge to transfer laser jet images to wood, the results were pretty bad with the image tearing and the edges coming away from the wood. I watched a YouTube video where liquitex was rated best gel medium so I gave it a try.It is amazing! I sealed the wood with 2 coats of liquitex and then applied the image, left it overnight and then began removing the paper the next day. I wet the image with a sponge and rubbed it 4 or 5 times to remove all of the paper and the results are great. There are no tears and the edges are perfect. I haven't sealed the image yet with a gloss sealant but I'm very impressed with the results. If you're looking to transfer images to wood then this is definitely the best product!
