Works fine

Works good
It's expensive for what it is, but does a far better job than sand paper. It should last a long time though, so if you plan to keep it and do brakes fairly often, the price/value works out pretty good. I did 4 rotors and one of the tips did break off though - maybe I was pushing too hard.

Deglaze often and regularly works wonders
It says to run slowly. Due on the fact that you don't want to creat a low spot. But if you run a little faster and don't stop on one spot you should be fine.. They may also want you from snapping off one of the balls off. Seem to be strong together is unless you are a total f-up this will save you some money if your rotor are not total trash..

Works great.
Son's car is still under warranty, and the dealership wanted to replace the rear rotors and pads due to corrosion on the rotors on my dime. I said no, it isn't needed yet so I used this tool. It took off the corrosion and cleaned up the small lip and now I should be able to get another year out of the pads and rotors before having to replace them. By then the car will be out of warranty and I can just DIY it instead.I used water as a lubricant, and it cleaned the tool up during use.

Does work but doesn't seem built well
Worked great for etching rotor surface but only did rear brakes and one barb came off and a couple more are pulling out so probably won't last long could have just been a bad one out of the batch

Works well if you are not able to surface rotors

Great way to extend the life of rotors
I used this to even out a pitted area on one of my front rotors that was causing my brakes to pulsate and shudder. I probably made about 50 passes around the rotor until it felt reasonably smooth. It worked! Brakes are now super smooth. This was a great alternative to replacing both front rotors since the other rotor was still in pristine condition.

Not as good as Brush Research ones
This rotor hone did the job. I needed to remove some flash rust from a set of rotors that had been sitting outside. I used this rotor hone at low drill speed with the slightest amount of pressure. After doing my 4 rotors its safe to say half the balls are missing. The glue that holds them into the base cracks and they just fly out. The Brush Research ones are much better quality

Ball stones flying away after few seconds.
Even if my speed was slightly less than working speed (450 RPM), ball stones started flying away after few seconds.
