The battery was received with about 75% charge. After a little over two hours on the charger I loaded the lawn mower and bagged half the lawn to test the battery on load. In the 25 minutes I used the battery I experienced one failure some five minutes in. After checking the gear, I powered up the mower and completed the task using only 25% of the charge. I let the battery on the charger overnight and the following day I completed the other half of the yard. This time I had 27 uninterrupted minutes and once again used about 25% of the charge. I will leave the battery in this condition until the next time since it is not good to leave them fully charged. We will see what the summer months will do to the battery’s capacity.PS My original Ryobi equipment was purchased on July 7, 2017, and the last of the two original batteries died around November 2023. I hope this one lasts just as long.

The battery pack for our lawn mower died this spring after a number of years and I needed a quick replacement. I was able to order this replacement battery and it arrived in a couple of days. Although it came charged, I charged it up. We are able to do our full lawn on a charge so it is doing what I need it to do. We do have a small lawn approx. 2,000 sq.ft.

When they are charged they are great, but they die so fast.

I'm very disappointed, really need these today as we've gotten 8" of snow this morning. I bought these to use on my Ryobi snow blower, they are supposed to be exact replacement (same V and Ah). The blower will start, but once under load (meaning I'm actually trying to blow snow) the blower dies like the batteries are dead. Checked and they are fully charged and functional. Might work for light weight usage, but not for anything that requires load.

Better than expected. Cannot tell difference in operating time when compared to original battery.

Bought this replacement 40v 6.5 Ah for my Ryobi 40v 6Ah battery. Battery life while using my mower is not as long as the Ryobi. I can mow entire lawn with Ryobi, but not much life left. There's barely a green beep when I recharge. This replacement only goes 3/4 of the lawn. It's a decent backup but certainly not a one for one replacement.
