I initially got this for a trans-pacific flight but found it was actually a versatile little headphone jack to bluetooth transceiver. I have used this in friend's cars and with stereo systems and even my computer to transmit sound/music to my bluetooth headphones. Its battery life is great and its range is very good. I had some trouble doing the dual-pairing thing with sharing my sound with someone else but i only tried that once. I usually am just listening solo. And for solo, this thing is awesome. It was especially handy on some flights that still have the weird dual mono headphone jacks so you have to use the for-sale ear buds. This has a secondary foldaway headphone prong for just that occasion. Take that nickel and dime airline!

I noticed the plug did not fit with my last few Boeing flights. I had no issues with Airbus planes. The sound quality and volume is average. It is expensive for the quality.

If the company reaches out to me I will edit this review.This device paired only once to our Bluetooth headphones and would never pair successfully again. We were in Europe, so when I got back I tried returning them but they make it impossible to do so- huge waste of money (these are not cheap!)BUYER BEWARE I kept getting a warning when I tried to go to their website to contact them directly- got pop ups that warning the site is not safe. Sad- wanted to have this for our long trip to Europe. Next time I’ll go to a store to purchase something like this.

I am always looking for this kind of product and this one really fit my requirement! I have a solo pro 2 bluetooth noise cancel headphone and I was trying this audio jack kit in my flight to japan and it works flawless. The adapter fits to the airplane audio jack(2 points) and the bluetooth connected to my headphone without much struggling and quick. Also, there is one transfer flight got normal audio output, this kit also come with the adapter for the regular one and works great. This kit made my economic seat experience better because no tangling cord around the already small seat. I can go to the restroom or stand up stretch without taking care of the earphone cord. Honestly, the only thing bothers me was my son took away my whole set of headphone because he noticed and tried and decided not giving it back to me. By the way, price is a little high because this is the thing only using while you are traveling with flight but it's worth if you travel a lot. The quality is also match the price.

The connection keeps dropping every 5-10 seconds, rendering it useless. I reset the device and reconnected my Airpods several times, but as soon as I started to use it, the connection dropped. The only reason for the three stars is the cables that came with it. Otherwise, I would have given it one star.

Tried with several pairs of bluetooth ear buds from latest Apple to less expensive no name.Was successful with only one no name pair by getting the unit flashing before taking ear buds out of case after turning off Bluetooth connect setting on every other electronic appliance.Two other brands, including newest, would say "connected" but didn't produce audio.

Update: 12/6/23So I have now been able to test this out on planes. I did a trip to Thailand just recently on EVA Air and their entertainment systems do not have bluetooth functionality so I was able to use this bad boy to get around that gap. Pairing was simple as I was able to get my Airpod Pro's to easily connect. Sound was excellent and I noticed no lag when watching video. The only thing that can be a little tricky is when you're using your earphones on more than one device at a time. I don't think this supports simultaneous pairing so you'll need to turn off your bluetooth on other devices that are paired to your earphones, otherwise it won't connect correctly to this wireless transmitter. But yeah, I'm adding an additional star because this product is, well, perfect! Oh, and I want to also mention that the battery on this thing lasts a hell of a long time. Pair that with the case and you'll almost never be in a situation where you'll run out of battery. My total flight time from Houston to Thailand was right around 23 hrs and I never ran out of charge (granted I didn't use it for a full 23 hrs but I did use it for at least half the time).I fly quite a bit for work so I wanted to be able to use this on flights where backseat entertainment was is available. Well, its not an easy task to find a plane that has backseat entertainment unless you're flying international. Either there wasn't one or the backseat entertainment had bluetooth already built in.So my next best bet was to simply use this on one of my older Ipod Nano's that actually has a jack. What's cool about this device is that it has 2 prongs, with one that can be folded out to use either on 2 prong jacks or the standard single prong. I folded out one jack to make it a single and plugged it into my Nano. The blue light on the transmitter blinks blue. I turned on one of my bluetooth speakers and set it to pairing mode. Both the light on the transmitter and the speaker blinked for a second and then went solid. Started playing some music on my nano and voila, music played right out of the speaker just as intended. I heard no distortion or any significant drop on music quality but then again I'm by no means an audiophile.I consider the test that I performed to be sufficient enough to satisfy it's functionality and there is no reason why it would not work for any scenario whether it be from a music player, airplane back seat entertainment, or anything with an audio jack for that matter.The pairing process was seamless. You simply make sure whatever is receiving is in pairing mode and it will automatically pair up with the transmitter.The transmitter itself is very sleek and solid. The case it fits into is also very solid and durable and is very reminiscent of an airpods case.Not sure how often I'll need it now since most planes are being retrofitted to address technology with bluetooth built in but that doesn't take away from the fact that this transmitter works as it should.Given that your use for this might be limited with all the technological advances, the one thing I would say is that it is probably a little to pricey for what it's worth at this point. Outside of that it's a well made, great device.

I own a few other Bluetooth transmitters/receivers, and this is by far the best one. The main difference is that the others offer both transmission and receiving, but this model only focuses on transmitting. This model is specifically designed for inflight entertainment systems and supports the typical 2-prong headphone jack found in most airplanes. It also comes with its own charging case, which makes a huge difference and extends its battery life. As you store the transmitter in its case, it automatically charges for the next usage, which I found very useful. Depending on what airline you fly, some airlines do not provide headphones, and those that offer them provide a very basic and cheap pair of headphones with low audio quality and very uncomfortable. Even many first-class seats still do not offer the convenience of Bluetooth. This Bluetooth transmitter takes care of that and allows you to use the comfort of your own Bluetooth headphones with the airplane's entertainment system. This is great for many reasons: 1) you get much better audio quality, 2) you don't have to worry about the cleanliness and hygiene of the headphones (especially those that are reused between flights), 3) you get to use comfortable headphones, 4) you get to keep your headphones on at all time and still enjoy the inflight entertainment system. This last one is very important to me. I have many pairs of Bluetooth headphones. Among them, I have a pair of AirPods Pros with active noise cancelling. I wear them before the flight takes off and leave them on throughout the flight to prevent my ears from popping due to atmospheric pressure changes in the cabin. This Bluetooth transmitter allows me to use my own AirPods Pro and enjoy the inflight entertainment without having to take them off and fiddle with my ears, and I can switch between transparency and noise-cancelling modes if I need to talk to the crew. Highly recommended for frequent flyers.

We travel a lot and I have having to use wired headphones for flights. Hubby and I like to share a film or watch something together so having the ability to pair both sets of AirPods is so cool.I actually tested this product out on my electric piano using a plug adapter (it uses a wider diameter plug than normal) to put it in the earphone jack. I am so excited to use my airPods instead of wired headphones. The chord always gets in the way and the sound is never as good. This worked perfectly!Pairing my airPods was easy as pressing and holding the power button on the wireless transmitter and pressing the button on my airPod case. It paired immediately, with no issues. It's so easy to add a second set by the same process. Up to two pairs of wireless earphones can be used at one time.The sound quality is great and none of the functions was adversely affected. The battery life is great giving around 8 hours of play time and with the charging case you get a total of 32 hours before you have to charge the whole system!I am so excited to test this on the plane for our upcoming flight.This product has many adapters and can be used with other devices as well. It is great for flights, to share music with a special someone, for electronic devices like a tv or electric piano etc.I highly recommend this product.
