If you have the skills , this is a great alternative to sending your phone to apple or a 3rd party repair shop.I can confirm the battery works just fine and in fact registers with 50 mah more than the apple equivalent . Giving you just a little more capacity.Im currently on my 3rd charge with each charge lasting me around 2-3 days, and that is only using 80% of the battery as per megtechs instructions for the first 3 charges to properly exercise the battery.The tool set that comes with the phone are really good, although i would have liked one of the prying tools to have a metal head, too much fragmentation of the plastic occurred when i used their prying tool for the battery.Here are some important things to remember before attempting the repair...- Watch different you tube videos, some "experts" may do things differently and the extraction of the battery may not be that simple as it was with mine (adhesive was not easy to remove from under the old battery)- Have a large sketch of your phone next to you, when you take out the screws place them on the sketch to remember where they go. (some screws are different sizes and if you replace the wrong screw you may risk damage to circuit boards.)- When you pry the screen from the phone body DO NOT let it bend back past 90 degrees, or you risk tearing the delicate ribbon cables from the phone.- A mount with a magnifying glass is helpful if you have one.With all that in mind, good luck, and rest assured this is a worthwhile investment.

This would be a five star review if they didn’t cheap out on the removal tools. The box comes with no instructions or a message on where to find the instructions. After I googled the brand, I followed the link to a YouTube video which was very good. The main issue with this product is the tools. The screw drivers are very good, the pri-tools how ever we’re flimsy and cheap and broke on me. The battery itself seems very good and my phone says the battery health is back up to 100%. I have no issues with heat or charge times or how long a charge lasts. If this changes I will update.

So let’s get the good bits out the way first, the battery fits and appears to be working fine in my iPhone 6s. The packaging was good, came in a nice little with a tool kit and instructions. I watched the video as prompted etc, etc.Now the not so good. The tools supplied with the kit are poor. Both of the screwdrivers where so soft that the tips instantly rounded and became useless. This wasn’t a case of me being heavy handed either, the screws are so small you can’t go mad with them anyway. Next up the long pry tool, basically it snapped at the tip so again useless. One last thing, in my opinion this kit really should come with a replacement gasket / seal in order to do the job properly. In fairness it’s not listed in the contents of sale so this isn’t a complaint. I bought mine on eBay.I will continue to follow the charging instructions that came with the battery and report back as to how good it stands up to daily use.Hope this is useful to others thinking of replacing their battery.Update after two days. The battery run time is shaping up well. Still need to do a couple more cycles without letting it drop below 20%. Downside is the battery heath feature no longer works, it just shows "service" and a "-". Im running IOS12.

This battery is better than an Apple replacement. First off if you want to change your battery with Apple for this particular model of iPhone after the backlash it will set you back £29 not only that but you have to either send it off via mail and wait up to two months or take it to an Apple store and get fixed. There are I think only 6 Apple stores in the entire of the uk so for a lot of people it’s not an option. With this megtech battery it’s super cheap and easy and best of all it’s a british company not some faulty Chinese product that fell off the back of a truck. My phone is so much faster and I can go from 7:30 all the way to 22:00 while having data on all day and still have about 40% left. Please if you are considering doing it your self use this. The tools were sturdy and did the job well without damaging the phone at all and the battery strips work so well.

I’m not usually the person to write reviews unless I’m actually impressed by a product. The battery is excellent, it’s made a great difference to my phones performance and I no longer live in low battery mode! I’ve had it installed for about 3 weeks now and can’t fault its performance. I always skeptics that most reviews are fake or nonsense, but you can trust this product. Quick tip though, when removing your old battery make sure to use the pull tabs at the bottom and do not try and bend or peel the battery off! A quick search online will show how.

Just replaced this battery, so came back to see how long it had been in my phone. Answer - 2 years! OK, so I'd been thinking about replacing it for the last six months, but it gave great service for 18 months plus. Really easy to replace (Yes, easy! just take your time and refer to youtube). I've just swapped this one with a higher capacity 2250mAh Yontex (2250mAh Battery Compatible with iPhone 6S 0 Cycle - YONTEX High Capacity Li-ion Replacement Battery), but can't say I'm particularly impressed so far. Especially at £20! Choose this battery and stop having to charge up every few hours.

First time changing a battery myself, took about 30 mins using you tube videos, including the sellers offering on how to install. Tools included very suitable for the job, and battery seems of good quality, with iPhone settings stating I now have 100% battery health as supposed to 60% from the original apple battery . Early days, but so far so good and if I have a years worth of decent battery usage I will be very happy in respect of the money I’ve spent.
