My dad sister and me all split this as a Christmas gift for my mom since she's been asking for quite a while. She made bread a few days later and loves it she's been making bread for us now and its definitely a game changer! I would recommend anyone interested in making bread to get this. It makes the bread making process easier as I've seen and heard from my mom and she loves it. For the price as well Its high quality!!

I have made some really delicious breads with it and the recipe it came with for dinner rolls is delicious. There is one corner of the pan that doesn't seem to get mixed well and there is often a spot of flour or butter that stands out in the loaf - I can cut it out of course but if I were trying to gift a loaf it wouldn't look good. I liked that it was able to be put in the dishwasher, but I'm finding that sometimes I need to wash the paddle and the pole it attaches to by hand to get them clean. The coating is rubbing off the paddle and it's less than a year old, used 1-2 times a week. There is usually a ring of bread between the paddle and the pan even though I attach the paddle firmly, it's just the design. Sometimes the paddle gets very stuck to the pole (but not in the bread itself thankfully!) and I tried rubbing in just a bit of olive or vegetable oil to the inside of the paddle attachment hole and it seems to help. Some recipes don't seem to come out quite right but that may be the cookbook I'm using and not the bread machine as the included recipes in the small book seem to come out right.Overall it's easy to use and I'm getting plenty of good bread, just some minor issues, and the price was good for what I got.

Makes bread properly. Needs a grippy mat under the legs or it walks off the counter -- not unique to this bread maker. The nut dropper works.

I am so happy. I haven’t had a real sandwich for what seems like years. I just finished a Turkey Sandwich that was delicious. The frozen gluten free offerings at the grocery store are not worth eating, dence, expensive and flavorless. I spent hours checking GF result reviews. I found an expensive machine that delivered a great light airy loaf with a good dome, but couldn’t afford the $400 price. Then I found this machine… amazing, fluffy and tastes like real bread. Many machines have a GF setting but produce a flat topped heavy loaf because of the timing and frequency of the rise. This loaf is perfect. My granddaughter wanted a piece (smell was heavenly). She loved it and didn’t know it was GF. I can’t wait to make another loaf.

This was the second one I bought. Neither of them had a working fruit and nut dispenser and neither one had the alarm to let you know the dispenser was activating so you couldn't compensate by manually adding the ingredients. I was very disappointed. I couldn't get anyone from customer service either. I used the email on their website and it bounced back undeliverable.

This was a gift for my mom. She had always wanted a bread machine and loves it. It came with detailed instructions and recipes which made it easy to do for her.

The positive: Bread in this machine was kneaded, then rose, then baked well.Why I am returning it:1) The fruit and nut dispenser did not work. It opened up and hung in back of the machine.2) Hamilton Beach Customer Service never answered my emails3) Customer Service has a phone number (for requesting parts) but no one answers. The recording just tells you to consult the web page4) The fruit and nut dispenser only holds 1/2 cup of raisins or nuts, and many of my 2lb bread recipes require 2/3 or 1 cup of raisins/nuts .What is the point of owning this machine if the dispenser doesn't work, and if Customer Service does not respond. Perhaps Hamilton Beach can't hire enough employees right now.So, if you don't care about having a fruit/nut dispenser, and if you don't care that Customer Service is MIA, this is still a useful bread machine. That is why I give it two stars instead of one star or even zero, if that were an option..
