Working great for over 3 years
Still working great after 3+ years. Holds a charge a long time. 1000% better that the Craftsman version, and much less expensive. It works so well that I don't need a back up battery.

Power when you need it without waiting to charge a battery first!
I found this battery and got it to allow me to use my large assortment of battery powered Craftsman tools that have long sat after my last Ni-CD battery died a few years back. I had a hard time swallowing the really large price tag of the Craftsman brand battery and stumbled across this one with the charger for less than half the price of the battery. It has worked great for many charges and uses. The only snag I ran into was when I used it to cut tree limbs with my sawzall. The case cracked and the battery came apart. When I contacted the manufacturer months after purchasing this, they offered to replace the battery for me, so next time I'll likely skip such a mechanical shock inducing task with the sawzall or even use some duck tape to provide extra support to the internal screw posts. But I would highly recommend this battery for all other tasks. I have used it with the skill-saw, sander, hammer-drill, stapler, drill, 1/4" impact drill/gun as well as powering the utility light when the power went out in the summer. I love that the charge lasts for a long time and that there is always some charge ready to tackle the next job in between weeks of non-use. I'm planning to get a second one so I can run two tools.

On my 2nd set of 2 batteries with in about 6-7 months time ?
I thought I was getting a decent deal when I purchased 2 of these batteries at the same time ? I used the batteries equally with out issue until about 6-7 months had gone by, Then I removed 1 from my charger put it in my C3 craftsman 1/2" drive impact and it lasted less than 5 seconds ? I grabbed the 2nd battery out of the C3 craftsman charging station I have and put the 2nd battery in, It lasted less than 2 seconds ?? I put them both back in the charging station they both according to the station had full charges but when I pushed the check charge indicator button on both batteries it wouldn't even light up and they will not power any tools at all ??? My question to the seller is do you have these manufactured with timers built in to fail at a predetermined time ???? It sure seemed that way. I received an email from the seller asking for a review but when I click on the link it states error that the site is having issues ? this is why I am on here doing the review so please make sure that the seller see's this. Thank you. To the Seller I very much appreciated your very quick reply to my email of both batteries failing. And is greatly appreciated that you replaced both batteries with no charge at all. I even asked you to send me a packing sheet so I could return your old batteries but you didn't ask for them back, I just wanted you to see what the problem was with them so you could make improvements or what ever may need to be done. I know they only have a year warranty, So again I just want to know do they have timers built into them to fail at a certain hours of use or what is going on ? I am still using factory sears batteries that I bought in 2013 and they are still functioning just fine ? I am just curious. I really do appreciate you replacing the batteries this time but if the timers only last 6-7 months or so many hours they aren't really going to be worth it when I know you're not going to replace them after a year is up on the original 2 batteries. Sorry But I believe I'll stay with the sears craftsman brand, I mean I've gotten 5 years of constant service out of what I paid nearly $90.00 each for in 2013. Thanks for listening/reading this.(( NOTE ADDED 5/8/19 I BOUGHT TH 1ST 2 BATTERIES IN MARCH 2018 THE SELLER REPLACED THEM I RECEIVED THE 2ND SET ON 11-1-18, TODAY WITH IN 5 MINUTES BOTH BATTERIES WENT COMPLETELY BAD ))) THESE BATTERIES ARE COMPLETE JUNK A WASTE OF MONEY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awful! Never had the power and duration that it's ...
Awful! Never had the power and duration that it's counterpart had my Craftsman name brand had. Just died on me yesterday suddenly with s full charge and now won't take a charge. Worked for 40 days now dead!!! Very angry and will update this if the seller chooses to offer replacement. Very aggravating and costly to my business productivity.. in hindsight 20/20 would have been wiser to spend more for the craftsman brand. My C3 lithium ion battery is now 4 years old and still going strong!UPDATE: Seller sent me a replacement battery no questions asked, so I am upgrading the review to 2 stars for the customer service efforts. I will not endorse this battery until I have put the replacement to the test. I am a commercial mechanic, and I use this tool repeatedly each day and typically go through a battery cycle each day. So it gets moderate use. I bought this as a backup to my Craftsman XTG LI Battery which I've had for 4 years and has never failed me. If you only intend to use this battery lightly perhaps it will last longer than it did for me, but I simply cannot endorse a product that fails after 30-60 days, no matter how cheap the price. I am a commercial operation and if my equipment fails, that equates to lost business, delays and down time. In todays mobile economy having reliable battery power is critical. So caveat emptor. I will update this review after 60-90 days of use.UPDATE 7/229/28: Less than a month after I received a new replacement battery after my first one died, this too has died. Battery burnt and I smelled a smoky burning smell from it. Just died during use. Will not work, will not take a charge. I now have 2 dead batteries. and the second saw very light use. Never again. Will update this review again if I am refunded. I cannot recommend this battery for mechanical use. Maybe light duty to build IKEA furniture or assemble simple thinks, but use on axle nuts and automotive applications is too great for this product and it will die prematurely.

Dosen't last long
I bought this battery 3 yrs ago and it's already not able to charge again. It was working fine up until 2 weeks ago. I paid almost $40 and it should have lasted longer than just 3 yrs
