I like the fact that they are not too big and hot.It takes patience and practice to learn how to hold the earring back and put it on the earring, but they do stay clamped. I usually lose an earring by hooking it on a scarf or hat, but this should prevent the problem.

I was about to return them until I put the rounded part facing my ear. The other way does not work.Granted I’ve only used them for a couple of days, but I have tugged on them while they were on my Diamond studs on my ears and they didn’t budge and pulled the earring towards the hole.I needed some space between the earring and my ear because it has been a couple of years since I wore earrings and I need to care for the lobe.Even with the space, they feel secure.I will for sure check them regularly like I did when I had non locking backings and I don’t think these will make me paranoid because they do not move from the stem of the earring. They stay where you place them.

There is no way these are nickel free! I put them on and within a few minutes my ears were so itchy and red! Nickel allergies are real and these companies need to be better about being honest! DO NOY BUY if you have a nickel allergy

This back works great, I got them for my kiddos and they are comfortable and they don't even notice them in their ears! Will definitely buy again.

I have an earring that the clutch in the back finds its way to the inside of my piercing and painful to get out. It's a screw back earring. This little disc was a little challenging to master, but it fits my earring perfectly and I'm so much more comfortable. I can't wear costume, nickel, or surgical steel earrings either, so finding these in gold was perfect. Good price and product. Exactly what I needed. I'm happy.

My son had his ears pieced in April. He lost one earring back after one month so i ordered these. His ears began reacting to them within a week. He religiously cleaned his ears morning a night and they were healing nicely. We changed out the earring back with surgical steel and they cleared up within days. It says that these are sterling/white gold and if they were plated then he should not have had a reaction. I don’t have reactions but my skin is less sensitive to metals. They do lock well.

These aren’t nickel free… I got the worst infection in the back of my earring hole. So disappointed, as these do lock. So that part is true.
