The Illustrated Encyclopedia of Tractors & Trucks: The Ultimate World Reference with Over 1500 Photographs

After much searching for the right book to give my 6 year-old nephew, I came upon this gem. It's an adult book, but the photographs of tractors and trucks are fantastic. He has spent hours just leafing through the book, which is the size of an encyclopaedia. I expect he will still have this book in ten years time. When he can read and understand it properly it will really come into its own. This book will never stop growing. I'm not sure this book is in print any more as I could only find a second-hand copy. I would recommend it to anyone who wishes to get lost in the world of trucks and tractors and emerge a happier and more informed person. I cannot find any criticisms at all, it's a dream book.

Covers the company history and significant models. Lots of colour photographs which brought back a lot of memories for my 83 year old father in law.He is delighted with it. Delivery was far faster than stated.

Very informative book. I never knew there were so many different tractors. Lots and lots of photos. Some interesting mini biographies on some of the men who built up some of the motor companies too.

Bought as a present and really enjoyed by the recipient...Lots if good detail and information, plenty of photographs, etc.Good price for a chunky book.

We bought this for our grandson's sixth birthday. He's a farmer's eldest son, and will grow into it as it is a bit beyond him at present. There is a lot of detail which I, as a retied farmer myself, appreciate.

It's a fun book to read, and learns. Different kind of model styles.

My nephew loves tractors and I had to get this book so he would return the other one to the library.
