Great blast from the past!
This was bought for my children (ages 11 and 7). I had wanted them to try them out, after having one myself as a kid.It was easy to use for both of them and the different styles catered to both my daughter and my son. However, there seemed to be a fault with one of them ( I had purchased 2). The ‘pet’ kept needing to be reset.Aside from that, fab little blast from the past that kept the kiddies entertained and gave them a sense of responsibility too!

5 minute wonder...
This is my personal opinion... the device has no faults and does exactly what it should but interest lasted about 1 or 2 weeks and then it found itself chucked in a drawer.Nothing against the product but a bit of a waste of time for us.

Birthday Present.. Didn't go down well
I bought this for my partners 22nd birthday, I had previously mentioned having one when I was younger and thought it would be perfect as a joke present.I ask how the Tamagotchi is doing on a regular and to no surprise she always replies with "I don't know, I don't have time" which I always reply with "can't say that when you have kids". It's now became a running joke between us that she has to try and keep it alive past the age of 5 (We are yet to achieve this)I suppose practice makes perfect! However all jokes aside, the new generation of Tamagotchi are very similar to the old generation so if you are after a old gadget definitely pick one up!Please be aware, you need time to care for your child.Childcare is around £50 a day. However, I do not know if they will baby sit your Tamagotchi...

Forced my housemates to clean the kitchen!
I went to uni and shared a accommodation with 16 other people. I was fed up of cleaning the kitchen and my housemates saying I don't do anything around the house. One week I noticed it was getting worse to the point where we had a letter from the landlord. It got thrown in the bin. It was getting to the point where I couldn't handle it and more.So I brought a tamigochi. (Which no one else knew aboout). I began to hide it around the house and let it scream its way to death and reset it every time it died (most mornings) It drove my housemates so insane to the point where they started cleaning the kitchen in order to find the "annoying screaming banshee thing" as they put it. After a while I did have to move it so they wouldn't find it. Eventually the kitchen was clean. And the noise disappeared... for now...I also have a really cool dead pet! 10 out of 10. Would totally recommend!

Tama-Tastic!
This was bought for my son's 6th birthday, but we have all started taking care of it as a family! I remember having one in the 90's, the nostalgia is great. It's a lovely colour (his favourite his purple) so this space theme is super. I do agree with other reviews where it can be difficult to see the tamagotchi, you do have to tilt it to a certain light to be able to see it sometimes but we aren't finding it as bad as what some people are making out. I'm glad it didn't put me off from buying it! It always goes to sleep at 9pm and wakes up at 9am, we've only managed to get it to 5 or 6 yrs old at the moment 🤦 I much prefer that they go back to a home planet, rather than dying, that is a really positive child friendly move forward when using one this time. A great buy.

Cancel all your plans.
You might as well say goodbye to your normal life schedule once this demanding little device comes into your life. It CONSTANTLY beeps at you needing looking after and it seems it's still not happy after spending afew minutes doing as it asks. Constantly died and in turn so did my interest in keeping it.
