Philips 223V5LHSB - 22 Inch FHD Monitor, 60Hz, 5ms, TN, SmartControl, SmartContrast (1920 x 1080, 250 cd/m², HDMI/VGA)

Bought this too put on a tyre machine, easily connected to it and works perfectly. Picture is very clear and the price is great. We didn't want something too expensive so when I seen this I thought I'd give it a go and it fits on perfectly, this is a great size as well.

No complaints whatsoever. Extremely lightweight, adjustable screen tilt and high quality display for video watching, gaming and work.Setup was simple and the stand required no extra parts/screws and fitted to the monitor with no issues. It was as simple as clicking it in place.No HDMI input however, so this may not be suitable for all purposes (e.g inputs from many laptops/consoles), but for a main desktop PC this is a good monitor at a competitive price point.

Acceptable monitor, at a great price.If you just want a monitor for browsing, playing some games, maybe going on YouTube it's great.It is only VGA, but if that's all your after, it's fine.If your hardcore into pc gaming, or a tech enthusiast.This isn't the monitor for you.But if you just need another monitor, and aren't bothered about some of the draw backs.It's perfectly fine, acceptable monitor.For what I need it for, it fits its purpose.

Unfortunately I did not read the comments I needed a monitor to connect to my laptop so I can extend the screen. I received this order and to my horror it has a VGA port not an HDMI port. I was disgusted that this advert would deceive people and state it has a HDMI port but doesn’t. Come on its 2020 a monitor should at least have that. I will not be buying from Philips again and I have started the process for my return

Great quality picture

My main gripe with this is that it is significantly "Not as described".Specifically:1. There are NO USB 2 ports and NO USB 3 ports (rather than the descibed 2 of each)2. Only 1 HDMI port (Rather than the two described)3. The picture is not at all bad if you get yourself lined up, but acceptable viewing angles are, in my opinion grossly, exaggerated.Minor niggles:1. The stand is quite wobbly (highlighted by others) but in fairness this seems strong enough and is stable enough on a good solid work desk.2. The transition from one screen to the next seems to have some default subtle "effect" built in. Many might not find this a problem or even notice it. Having had a lifetime career in imaging, I found it really irritating.3. The build generally seems solid enough, but the bezel has a rather cheap look to it. Difficult to describe, but it is a nono decript mid grey with a sort of "brushed" effect, but remember beauty is in the eye of the beholder.4. The curved moulding at the bottom of the monitor is rather rough and sharp to the touch if you run a finger along underneath it. Feels unfinished.All this is poor in a monitor that we asked to believe has a RRP of £147. - No accusations, but I find myself wondering whether these are factory secondsIn googling around there are at least two models of this item 223V5LHSB/00 as supplied to me and which is critiqued above and the 223V5LHSB/01. This may explain the port discrepancies.General Comments:This is the 3rd monitor purchased from Amazon that has not met the description and has had to be returned, SO any slight queries in your mind? ASK, ASK and double check

Great little monitor for gaming or just browsing the net, works great

works ok purchased in 2016 and since handed it down to other family but its still in use on a daily basis, no problems

Ho acquistato questo monitor per lavorare, se non si hanno troppe pretese (ad esempio lavori grafici) va benissimo, anche dovuto al rapporto qualità-prezzo.Non è adatto al gaming spinto, ma per i "vecchi" giochi si.Non è presente l'audio, e l'unica porta disponibile è una VGA, ma con un adattatore VGA-HDMI si risolve questo "problema" sui nuovi laptop o computer.Consigliato se non si ha un alto budget

Ich brauchte einen 19" Bildschirm mit HDMI Anschluss. Das war für vernünftiges Geld nicht zu kriegen, also ist es der 21,5" Philips geworden.Der Bildschirm liefert ein gutes, knackiges Bild, bin also zufrieden. Über Reaktionszeit und Bewegtbilder kann ich kein Urteil abgeben, da erin meinem Setup alleinig die Visualisierung eines Hardware Controllers darstellt. Standfuß ist etwas wackelig, das stört mich aber nicht, da ich mir ein integriertes Gehäuse Controller/Monitor bauen werde.

Ho utilizzato precedentemente altri monitor,ma con questo non c'è paragone.La qualità delle immagini è veramente superiore e a questo prezzo (secondo me) è il prodotto migliore che uno può acquistare.Lo schermo è opaco/leggermente lucido,ma i riflessi non si vedono per niente,zero.Veramente interessante il fatto che lo schermo può regolarsi automaticamente in base al tipo di contenuto che si sta guardando,in questo modo la vista non si stanca,Confermo che è Full HD a LED e che contiene una presa HDMI.Prima di acquistarlo ho letto varie recensioni e la maggior parte delle persone si lamenta per il piedistallo in plastica non perfettamente stabile.Ammetto che se si scuote la scrivania,il monitor balla leggermente,sicuramente non nel modo in cui viene descritto...è ovvio che si tira un calcio potente alla scrivania,vola via tutto,monitor,stampante e compagnia bella.Sulla carta ci sono monitor più economici con prestazioni superiori,ma andando a vedere le recensioni,le lamentele riguardano lo schermo.Penso che questo sia molto più grave che lamentarsi di un piedistallo..Il pacco mi è arrivato addirittura in 1 giorno di anticipo,ma questo non so se sia per via del venditore o del corriere..Se nei prossimi giorni noterò delle pecche,revisionerò la review.
