I bought this for my 8 year old daughter. Granted, there are settings that are probably a bit advanced for her; the camera itself is perfect for her. The picture quality is good and although it's capable of 40+MP, I set it to 20 as the larger file sizes take up too much space on the (micro) SD card. It only seems to accept up to 128gb, which is fine and at 20mp allows for just over 100 photos.I'm a photographer and use a Fuji X-T3, so this obviously doesn't stand up against a semi/professional camera, but for a younger person looking for a standalone camera to have fun taking pictures, I'd say this is an ideal place to start. It's not expensive, it has some pretty neat features - face-detect, burst mode, smile-detect, timer etc.Regarding the zoom function, I teach my daughter to use her legs rather than a zoom as the image quality suffers greatly the more you zoom in on a subject. However, this is pretty true to even smartphone camera's.

Poor quality item broke after having it for a short time

Bought for 8 yr old daughter to take personal pictures on an animal activity day.Ideal size and not too heavy. Definitely “cooler” and grown up compared to her oversized bright pink toddler camera!Easy to handle and pics are of good quality. Have had them printed for her own photo album of the day.The SD memory card works without any issues and charges efficiently too.Wouldn’t hesitate to purchase another one as ideal for young photographers without stressing over the cost.

Pretty simple to operate and useful to have two batteries. Better quality than I expected for the price.Not sure why no SD card included as all you can do without is practice the controls and zooming, but not possible to take any photos without.Would have been 5 stars if it came with an SD card.

This is ok for a child’s very first camera. It is cheaply made and resolution is not great.

My daughter was asking for camera from long time,finally I bought this camera for her birthday .she really loving it.It is very easy to use for her.it is very simple to setup and small to hold for small hands.Bought lovely girly colour for my daughter.Comes with small carrier bag,charger c cable,2 battery and manual . Doesn't come with the micro SD card ,need to buy by own.Picture and video quality is decent not very good quality nor that bad .Very happy with my order

Purchased this camera to take on travels, it is easy to use, portable and the photo quality is very good for the price. It has lots of different modes and the picture quality in the dark is also very good.

Je suis satisfaite de cet appareil photo enfant. Sa bonne résolution, son zoom numérique 16x et sa fonction de webcam en font un outil polyvalent pour capturer des moments. La facilité d'utilisation, la légèreté et la portabilité en font un compagnon idéal pour les enfants. je recommande ce cadeau surtout pour noel et anniversaire enfant.

The kids seem to enjoy the camera, but they are somewhat unhappy that there is no focus function. The battery time is low, the zoom is pointless (due to quality) and the sound reception is not the best. But for this price, I did not expect much more.
