Tragic romance
Girl running from her past, only to return home to face her past demons.Joined by previously established characters this is a simple story of the third sister. It was as engaging as the previous stories.Loved the story and characters. Dialogue again perfect. Loved piper and her heartache leapt off the page.My one gripe would be how quickly mason wished piper was his daughter's mother. Up to that point she had been a good mother, even mason said so, I found it shocking how he involved piper almost immediately in his daughter's life, regardless of knowing her family.Piper once she told all her secrets didn't hesitate, perhaps a little more trial and error.Otherwise cracking stuff.

Good read
Enjoyed piper and masons book. Hints of what happened aren’t confirmed until late into the book but you kind of guess earlier. Good read but I did feel something lacking. Mason seemed older than 22 and I do like to see retribution for wrong doings however author swept things under the carpet a bit for me.

Hard read.
This was an interesting read and incredibly hard given the subject matter. I felt Piper grew and healed slowly throughout the story but quickly enough to eventually slay her demons. I can’t imagine what she must have gone through but she survived in the only way she could.

5 stars for Mason and Piper ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 💖💖
Samantha Christy practically bleeds emotion into her stories and this one was no different. From the start of this book you can guess that Piper has experienced something incredibly traumatic and because of that she has this standoffish persona that she outwardly projects. Mason has his own demons that he battles with as well as a beautiful daughter who is his entire world. He can sense that Piper has another side to her so he refuses to let her cold brush offs put him off and what ensues is a touching and beautiful story of love and learning to trust.

Well written
Piper has a multitude of problems that keeps her away from her home until she has to attend her sisters wedding. Mason picks her up from the airport as a favour and they clash. It's hard work trying to get to know her until he finds out her secrets with the help of his ex.Worth a read.
