I don't drive anymore and hate draining my laptop on a long ride, so I searched for a good DVD player. I landed on this one. This came with everything as advertised. In case you're like me and have never used one of these, after you plug in the device to whatever power source you're gonna use, on the right hand side is an On/Off slider switch. Make sure to slide it to On. I tested this with one of my favorite cheesy action flicks, The Substitute 3, starring the late Treat Williams. The picture was really nice, and I liked that I could swivel the screen. I tested out the sound levels, and it starts at 12 and maxes out at 20. This should be more than enough for most people, but there is a headphone jack if you prefer that. I wanted to test out the USB drive and SD Card reader, but I don't have anything that meets the requirements of max 32 GB. So please be aware of that limitation. The remote has a lot more options than I anticipated, which was nice. All in all I feel like I got my money's worth and am very excited to use it this coming weekend. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a nice portable DVD player. The screen size is really nice, by the way. I used to own a really small one and it felt cutting edge at the time, but this is such an improvement.

I am very impressed with the beautiful technicolor of the screen view: when I played a Children’s Video for my initial performance test. I actually purchased this lightweight swivel travel DVD player to mostly use for DVD continuing education medical seminars. However, it will come in handy for an occasional entertainment DVD movie. I was apprehensive to even start to set it up (having had past years of excruciating technology trauma from the extensive gruesome wiring for a DVD player to work.) This DVD player is state-of-the-art simple one-step charge to connect and voila all you have to do is sit and watch! I’m very pleased with the screen size which beats watching from an iPad size and the option of the DVD player portability for travel size. The buttons on the DVD player and remote are basic self-explanatory. If you’re like me and don’t like spending your life reading overstated nonsensical electronic instructions on a pamphlet; this DVD player is your ticket to let’s just get this thing rolling! The price is sensible comparing to others on the market which I researched and read reviews on: and not to mention comparing to my past hideous bulky heavy DVD players! I purchased the 3 year protection insurance plan, nonetheless; because after all, it is an electronic device and this way I can have peace of mind that if anything does not work going forward; they’ve got me covered! So, go ahead buy with confidence and enjoy your new DVD player just like I’m doing, you’ll be glad you did!!!

I was amazed that I was able to get this for $69! How do they do it! Picture is a bit streched and a little distorted on some discs, just fine on others.(?) Low contrast. Remote is a lot of tiny buttons, the controls on the unit are much easier to use. No slow mo. Only has old style low res RCA inputs. Even so, it is a great deal, and works fine.

I bought this for our vacation and thought it would work really well in the car but it’s even better than I thought. My daughter loves it! It would be perfect a toddler that you don’t want to click off of the screen because the screen is able to turn all the way around. It also came with hook ups for AV. My son was able to hook up his game to it and play it in the car with no problem. The battery last a long time and charges pretty fast. It is pretty loud for a laptop quality speaker. I believe the volume goes all the way to 100. Also did I say that it’s huge! The screen is super big and the fact that it’s portable just makes it the best.

At first the DVD player worked fine, but after watching a few dvds, it stopped working. It was past the return time, so I contacted Amazon to ask what I could do. They said they were giving me an extended return time and would give me a refund. I returned the item and then I receive a message that it was past the date, and they would only return a reduced amount. VERY disappointed!!!! I really need a portable DVD player for my work, but now I am out the player and money. I really wish Amazon or the Seller would help me! Thanks

This portable DVD player is fantastic. I got for a trip we took and it has work great so far. I like how there is a swivel screen, so you can have it closed while using it and it's also mountable so you can have it on the back of your seat in car. The screen is the perfect size and it gives a clear picture. The sound quality is excellent. Its clear and does not have any static to it. I really like how it came with aux cables so that we can hook it up in car or to our surround sound at home. There are also several different ways to watch a movie. You can play a DVD, a SD card or USB. I do wish that it had a longer battery life to it but you can watch about 3 movies before it will die, and it doesn't take long for it to charge. It's a great value for the money spent on it and we will be using it a lot this summer.

This portable DVD player..wow..just wow. It is amazing. The screen is huge and I love it. I bought it for my son cause he was going to camp and wanted something to watch while he was there. I think I'm going to keep it now. The screen moves around so you can angle it to different areas of the room. It is perfect. It plays all my DVDs and I'm just so happy I bought this one. It's so simple to use and came with the remote and multiple ways to charge it. If you are looking for a portable DVD player, this is the one to get. I'm more than happy with this purchase!

In 2025 it can seem odd getting something like this, but we really try to keep our kids away from having phones and access to too much, so it's nice being able to have something that they can both watch in the car while we're traveling with how big the screen is. Easy to use and intuitive, and keeps us from having to be worried about what they're watching. we recently took a road trip, and the battery life was amazing. It lasted the whole way there. I will say. Also, the quality of it is pretty good, and the buttons are easy to use.
