SmartSealNatural Stone Sealer - Dry Finish – Impregnating, Durable, Clear Sealer for Sandstone, Limestone, Granite, Travertine & Slate - Easy to Apply Indoor & Outdoor Use (5 Litre)

I used this sealer on my stone patio which is approx. 102sqm. I followed the instructions / method described in the Youtube video produced by Smartseal, and it was really easy to use. I chose a pump sprayer to administer the sealant and it worked really well. Personally I think this is probably the most economical method of application. It really drew the colours out of the natural stone and it looks brilliant. I would highly recommend this product. Depending on what your starting with, I would recommend the cleaner beforehand (Patio CleanXtreme). I had to use this as my stone had been down 18 months and I had algae / litchens visible in places. The cleaner made easy work of this and gave a perfect base for the Sealer. You need to have a couple of dry days in order to apply both, and make sure you wear appropriate safety clothing.

Perfect for what I needed. Easy to apply, but restricted by weather forecast (stones need to be dry for 3 days before applying). Always treat with Patio Extreme Cleaner first, then have to wait.Used garden sprayer - first coat saturated, 2nd coat fine mist. Dries very quickly and provides great protection. Indian Sandstone Raj Green slabs look like new.Price is the only reason not 5 stars - not a cheap way to treat and I do it annually, but will definitely continue to use.

It does the job, easy to apply and it really leaves the surface pristine. You wouldn't even guess that something was apply on your stones. I used it as sealant for a travertine border, followed the instructions, and the third layer took very little product, meaning that the first two already sealed the surface. Ordered more to make sure I have on stock for re application.

What a good product Smartseal is. Easy to apply, and left my stone stairs exactly as they were but sealed from muddy footprints and bird droppings.Good price and delivered on time.

The sealant works well but the product description should make it very clear that the finish is natural. It will not enhance the colour or finish of the stone. If your stone finish is worn this product will not improve the look of it. Buy colour enhancing sealant and if you prefer one with a wet look finish which is what I had to do in the end.

I liked the delivery, it sealed my natural stone patio with the correct method of application, proof is water not soaking in the stone as it did before and you can now wash of dreaded bird droppings! Great stuff!

Went on easy. Pleased with product.

Perfect for what I needed. Very easy to apply and absolutely no mess. I used it to seal some decorative slates I bought. Only time will tell if it works though
