Great
It is my second power supply by Corsair. My previous one was HX850i. Both are working well. I do not need so much power but because of the quality and that the fan mostly is not spinning (so the power supply is silent) I went for Corsair. I use the HX850 for my server and the HX1000i for my desktop. The ability to check the power consumption is a nice touch. The only problem is the high price but as I put together my own computers, I think that I will not need to buy another power supply in my life as I can reuse it unless they come up with new mainboard connections in the future… However, I recommend it.

Powerful and robust with good quality cables that provide effective cable management
The power supply has a lot of power and is large but fits in well. The 1500 watt lead is different to standard (kettle) power cables and is more like one you might find on an oven I think which is presumably due to the increased power on this. It's good to have the additional power should it be needed but obviously if your device is idling it doesn't mean it will use any more power but the power is there when it is needed. The cables on this are a good design and not too bulky as they can be with some power supplies. One thing that caught me out was that there is some film over the logo on the side where the fan is which looks like it should peal off but I think perhaps it was meant to remain on as the logo lost its shine with it pealed off but then it was coming off a little already when unpacked so it was an easy mistake to make.

Yep, Silent Quality
Definitely recommend the HX over the RM series. It’s quiet and efficient. Solid unit. This was a replacement for an older HX series faulty unit which lasted 7 years. The fault was caused by my own error causing a surge and blowing a capacitor. So it probably would have run for another 7. The usb-c to 4 pin motherboard connector is a nice touch. I can monitor how the power is utilised for each component along with temperatures. Very cool.

Fantastic
The media could not be loaded. Noise - cannot hear itAppearance- a real shame it doesn't come in white as it would've matched my build.Works flawlessly as you would expect. Platinum rated so is very efficient (normally around 93-94%) when under load. As CPUs and GPUs get increasingly power hungry the number of Watts needed for a system is going up. 1000watts will be plenty for most users.Be sure to connect it to your motherboard using the upplied USB header cable (I needed to buy a USB header splitter) as you can see your power in/out and the efficiency it is running out along with the fan speed (all viewable from iCue). You can set custom fan curves if you really want (also in iCue).Be aware that the new models DO NOT come with a fan test button. A lot of reviews in the wild tell you how to test the fans using this. Corsair informed me that the new models do not have this function.Overall, another premium component but gives confidence you will get stable power delivery at high efficiency.Ot is possible to run the power from single or multiple rails in iCue but since I don't understand this, I leave it at default!!

Very good but...
I noticed that there are only 2 PCIe 8-pin (6+2) connector cables for the GPU. Unfortunately, I don't have a 40 series so I need 3 of the type 4 cables to satisfy my rx6900xt. I noticed the 1500w version has 3 of these single headed. But the 1000w just 2 and they're the cables with the y split at the end (don't look nice nor do they look neat and tidy.I appreciate the 1500w is more expensive but what's an extra cable and why have only 2 of the non-aesthetically pleasing y split cables instead. The only real disappointment.

Works well
I needed a new PSU and this one fullfilled my needs. Well packaged and easy to install. Any doubts during install just check youtube or any other platform.

Beast
This power supply is a beast. It's icue compatible so you can see its temperature and the power draw in the icue software. Absolutely silent operation. I never hear the thing. I have a very demanding set up and this power supply doesn't even flinch. All the cables are modular so you only plug in what you need. I highly recommend it especially if you're planning on buying corsair fans to.

Excellent psu.
Replaced my old corsair Ax860i psu which had been faultless and still working after 10+ years of service. But it will only last so long so replaced it before it died.Plenty of power for most applications, and you can see how much power is being drawn and used by the pc, I am not aware of other manufacturers having this capability. The IQ software enables you to control the fan and view all power/current on each line. Yes it is expensive but it is worth buying decent quality for an expensive pc, it's also competitive compared to others of similar quality. Corsair back this up with a decent warranty. And unlike the no name brands you will be able to contact them in 5 years time should something happen. One criticism is the screws holding the psu in are tiny, given the weight of modern psu's this method of fixing needs to be improved, I had the screws pop out during installation. Corsair aren't alone here as this is a standard atx style fixing that hasn't changed in many years. It's also quite big so make sure you have the room.
