Love these!! Used these to make fruit, sweet potato, and nut filled hand pies. The cutters could be a tiny bit bigger for the mold, but if you don't try to over fill you'll be fine. Or just give the rounds an extra roll of the rolling pin after cutting. These would be great for pierogi, which tend to be flat-ish due to the filling typically being very rich. But in fairness, even the smallest one worked great with my lumpy pecan pie type nutty filling. To help seal the pie when using drier dough, i wet one half of the edge with a water and corn starch slurry. Next I'm going to try using the pre cut empanada wrappers to save time.Great design, easy on the hands with no sharp edges, and you can't beat the price for the whole kit including the cutters!

Smaller than expected. However, it is perfect for small empanadas for a party.

I think the metal ones would probably work better.

I tried to use the two smaller sizes to make ravioli. If you put even a tiny bit too much filling in the ravioli/dumpling the inner edge of the crimping teeth tear the dough. Poorly designed.Also, the dough cutting rings are a few millimeters too small. The dough is the same size as the crimper until you fill the dough. Then it settle in and the edges are too small to get a reliable crimp.I got a 4", 5", 6" set from another vendor and they were great (they also had the dough cutter built into the back side of the press so there are fewer pieces floating around in your kitchen drawer.

Bought these to make pierogies! Such a time saver! Cut time almost in half. Definitely worthwhile purchase.
