Installation went well after watching a YouTube video as no instructions were enclosed. It raises the chair very high, higher than the original one. It works great. Packaging was awful. It wasn’t in a separate box but wrapped in a clear plastic wrapper and sent in a paper envelope that was torn from the weight but that’s an Amazon things not to do with the seller.

Perfect fit. Was able to replace piston on my dads chair. Works great. So easy to install. So much cheaper then replacing whole chair.

I bought this for my work chair hoping to stop sinking to the floor. Not even 2 weeks after installing it, I sink to the floor. Yes I am larger 450lbs. That is why I chose a "heavy duty" that was supposed to be good up to 1000lbs.Waste of money. Try something else and if you find something that works let me know.

Watch the YouTube videos for removal of the old one. The QR for installation was helpful. I had it replaced in about five minutes.

It was way harder to get the broken piece off than for my husband to replace the new piece. It works like a charm and kept us from having to replace the entire chair.

Bought this unit specifically because it was supposed to hold up to 1000 lbs. After 2 months, it is already slowly sinking to the ground ... Ofc the warranty window is only 1 month ... Amazon is refusing to replace.Another 40$ down the drain ...Dont buy ! Cheap junk !
