This is a USB powered LED strip light, a few touch buttons on top for controlling it, and a counter weighted bracket for the top of the screen.Works really well. It just balances on top of the monitor using the counter weight design, but manages stays in place on our desktop screen. The touch controls help meaning you don’t have to push down to control it, much like a touch screen on a mobile phone. A Light touch is all that’s needed. Should work fine on a laptop as well, and will be very easy to remove and replace when need be.As it is powered by a USB-A port, the maximum power you’re getting from this is 5w, but for it’s intended purpose it’s plenty enough, and that is to create a lit area under the monitor and/or create a front light to help with overly bright contrast from a monitor’s blacklight.Personally, I don’t actually like the light pointed directly at the screen. My wife, who is the primary user of this light loves it though. She uses the computer for long hours and it’s helped a lot of her eye strain.We both really like that little extra light when working on computer related projects on the desk while having the monitor on. This provides a more even and better lit area to work on, without over casting shadows from ourselves.I’ve just ordered one for my own desk.

Ordered the reading light and it arrived on time as mentioned.The item is quite sturdy and a bit larger than expected but it covers the full length of the laptop screen that I have.There are levels of brightness so you can adjust to what suits you best.There are levels to night light too so the brigthess setting does not affect your eyes.The controls are touch sensitive so you will need to get accustomed to it as you could accidentally adjust the brightness or switch off the lamp.The good thing about this lamp is that it does not cover the camera on the laptop as there is a cutout in the fittings/holder.The ball fitting is ideal as it does not damage your laptop or screen frame/cover, however you need to get used to how it fits. It comes with a sticky part so that the assembly could be more permanent.The only downside is that the assembly would need to be removed if you want to close the laptop screen aspecially if you are using it on the bed. When using the laptop on turntable/desk then the screen could be left open with the lamp still mounted.Overall the product is very good quality.

Does exactly what I expected it to and I'm buying another one for another monitor now. Really good colours, easy to use and install.

Great light, strange mounting method using a ball and sticky tape though which isn't the best. Mine also won't save the settings so it essentially resets itself every time it's turned on which is a pain, I'm not sure if that's what it's meant to do but it's annoying.

La iluminación es buena tal como se describe, el apoyo es bueno usando el adhesivo, sin el no queda firme.Los sensores de control actúan como botones y son muy sencillos de usar.

Le caratteristiche tecniche di questa lampada sono già riportate su questa pagina e pertanto non le ripeteremo per farti leggere due volte le stesse cose.Il primo aspetto che ci ha impressionato appena tolta dalla scatola, è stata la qualità dei materiali.C’è un po’ di plastica, ma c’è anche tanto metallo tanto è vero che la lampada ha anche un certo peso.Il posizionamento è relativamente semplice, poi dipende dal tipo di monitor che hai.Funziona con un cavo USB che deve essere inserito il monitor stesso.Gli effetti luminosi sono tanti e sono modificabili tramite i due tasti laterali del tipo touch.L’abbiamo regalata ad un appassionato di videogiochi ed effetti RGB che è rimasto molto contento.Per concludere;È chiaro che non è una lampada per tutti ma è un prodotto pensato per gli appassionati di videogiochi e degli effetti RGB.Per qualità dei materiali, quantità di combinazioni RGB e facilità d’uso e installazione, è sicuramente un prodotto consigliato.Ci auguriamo di essere stati utili.Grazie e alla prossima.
