Features are ok but the price isn’t
I looked at many reviews before I decided on this CD player. It has features that are necessary in todays world that were never imagined when I bought my first CD player almost 30years ago.Skip protection, and over sampling were all the rage so you didn’t hd ave to remain perfectly still when listening to your favorite music. Now there is Bluetooth which allows you to listen to earbuds or listen through speakers. This device does that very well. Tricky at first to make sure the “BT” is blinking when trying to pair it to another device. But it works and it works well.I still buy as much music as I can on CD I like having something tangible that I can rip on to my computer, put it on my other devices. The issue with this player is, sound quality is only ok. I had a cassette player with better sound quality than this. It has preset EQ for bass post, rock, jazz, and others. The sound goes from Horrible in bass boost to atrocious in rock setting. Leave it where it starts and things will be fine. I am not sure if the sound engineer had ears or not and whether or not they worked but that is a crime.Another complaint I have is the interface. It has a ring around the display that is sometimes so sensitive it changes things when you pick it up and accidentally brush across the buttons. Seriously, I am not some han-fisted clod that has little control over my digits… it can be unbelievably sensitive, other times when you want to pause the music because someone is talking to you the button needs to be pressed repeatedly and with a small amount of force, not too much but in contrast with barely bumping it and having it change it is considerable. I like the display decent size decent information, I like that is power off to conserve battery power, except if you are listening and changing at the same time which seems ridiculous. All in all it is a decent CD player, not for the price, but the features it has work and work well.Would I buy it knowing what I know about it? Probably not, I would keep looking. But you never know, other CD player could be worse. On the whole of the 4 or 5 personal player I have had it is second. I had some transparent one that I bought from Walmart years ago and the sound quality was great, but it was like 18 years ago and didn’t have Bluetooth. Not sure what the brand was, maybe JVC or something. Bass boost was on point and again sound was clear. Thanks for reading I hope this helps.

Junk
I'm on my 2nd (and last) of this player. The first one I had for 3 months and then all the funcion buttons froze up. I couldn't shut it off, pause it or switch from FM to Bluetooth. I returned it and bought another one and after barely a month the new one did the exact same thing. I'll be returning this one as well and buying a different brand. HOTT?

options to use bluetooth or FM for link to my car audio system is great
The bluetooth connection is a cleaner and "louder" sounding link than the FM connection , the CD players control buttons are easy to access the device itself is very well built.

Nice little case for portable round CD players
Picked this up for an old Sony discman I wanted a case to store in. Not much to say about it, pretty self-explanatory product. Materials are decent and provide a nice storage option. It's better than a soft shell bag but not exactly a hard case either. It has an elastic mesh pocket on the inside, but unless the player you're putting in it VERY thin (less than 1/2") it's probably not usable. Also potentially runs the risk of putting pressure on top side buttons if your player has them. It's a decent little case and I'd pick up another one if I should need it.

Compact and highly portable with a superb sound reproduction
This is the third portable CD player I have purchased from Hott. My daughter and son have the earlier two I purchased as cd inputs to refurbished power amps. Excellent as this type of input. I needed a replacement for music during those long flights abroad so the obvious choice was Hott. I’m looking forward to hours of listening and matched the cd player with a set of Sony studio monitor headphones.Superb sound reproduction as expected.Fir everyone seeking a small portable high quality cd music player you can’t go wrong with this manufacturer Hott
