Not much to say, they do what they were made for, a solid fitting.

Thought these might be easy to use and after you bust your nails getting them on the tubing they probably are. Didn't like that the screw fittings didn't come off. You have to push the tubing on the fitting and into the screw cap. What's with that? Somebody might like the design but it makes no sense to me. I bought others that were brown with removable plugs that are easily swapped. I wouldn't buy a bunch of these until you go down to HD and buy one and try it.

I give it 5 stars fro stopping leaks. Zero stars for installation. Makes me wonder if their engineers eve tried to stick the hose into the screw part. It would have been so easy to bevel the end. After taking an hour to install 4 tees, I beveled the last one and it took a minute.

Received quickly and in good shape. Seem to be sturdy and they fit very tight, in fact, almost too tight for a 1/2" inner diameter plastic irrigation hose (that's why the four stars). Very hard to get on and one reviewer suggested using hot water to heat up the hose first. This worked okay, but still took a lot of effort. For another hose, rather than hot water, I applied some bath gel on the end of the coupler and it went in with moderate effort. Don't use vaseline since it is a petroleum product and will deteriorate the plastic. Looks like they will last a long time, so the price is right for a cheap fix if you know what you're doing. I tried it on 5/8" irrigation hose, much easier to get on, but had to secure each end tightly with a hose clamp. Didn't leak at all, so it might be good for that size as well if you use a clamp. I would buy this product again.

These are hard to install but once on will hold forever. Plan on spraying the connectors and inside of pipe with WD40 if you want to get the pipe over the connector. Takes a good amount of effort to install.

I purchased these because our lines had developed some leaks. Application was cutting the hose apart at the leak and then inserting the coupling into the line at each end. Since it is made to keep the two parts together without leaking, they are difficult to put into the tubing. Other reviewers suggested using liquid soap to ease the process. It does help. Once installed, the leak was corrected.

I had a leak in my drip line and my local store doesn’t carry this part. I received it the next day and was able to repair the leak.

This connector is exactly a copy or it could be the original of the Rainbird 1/2" connector. Same color, same material and ready to go.
