I think this is a good concept, and something that could be a really great option for a lot of people - however I do think this is a bit of a targeted market sort of thing. I'm not sure how many people need their webcam to be middle of their screen - in fact I know a lot of people who would find that odd, distracting, and possibly even annoying. I am kind of one of those. I do think it offers a bit of a more personable angle/view than the traditional placement of webcams, but you could get a similar result by putting your normal webcam on a tripod.I do like that this is a whole kit - comes with a mini ring light, the webcam, the USB-C charging cable, a clip for the camera, and a case to store everything in. It is very well put together, and easily portable.The webcam gets fed through in an interesting, and unique way - and winded up being easy to install/figure out.I am also happy with the camera quality, I didn't have any major issues, the color temp is good, the ring light provides good light, and the camera cable is a flexible/posable material making it easy to position however you need.I think if this sort of concept intrigues you, and you need a webcam, or are looking to upgrade - this is a great option, for me, I think I'm still going to favor my normal webcams for now, and save this for some kind of special project (maybe for an overhead angle for crafting videos.)

This set comes with a camera, a clip, a ring light with a clip, a USB cord and a USB C adapter in a nice case. All of the pieces of these are well made. The camera is metal and the concept is that you place the camera in the middle of the screen and that makes you look more naturally as if you are looking at your audience in video calls. The camera is very small and does not obstruct your screen view. The clip that you use to clip the camera onto your laptop or device has an opening front and back where you can clip the camera to it. This is smart because the camera is adjustable and you can risk the camera flipping to the side if the clip only held the camera in the front. But the clip holds the camera in the front and the back. You connect the camera via USB. The ring light is rechargeable and has the same neat clip for your camera in front and back.I have a Mac and this worked seamlessly once I selected the Center Cam as my video source. Because I have a Mac I appreciated the USB C adapter. I wish it came with 2 because the ring light is rechargeable and if I am on calls all day I would like to be able to recharge the light and use the camera at the same time. As is I need another adapter for the light.Once connected you can see your face larger than you would with your laptop camera. You look as if you are talking to your audience directly and the camera…shows everything up close. You see how some video conferences blur your imperfections- I haven’t been able to hide my blemishes with this although I think it's because I do not know how to adjust my settings. The camera kit is a great resource. I actually saw a kickstarter for something similar with less accessories and it cost more so this is a bargain and very well thought out.
