Love it
It’s perfect it’s dark green cool color. I wanted this because my cat doesn’t have Bluetooth and I still wanna be able to change my music with a button in front of me instead of in the arm rest where my lighter port is.

Frustrating and disappointing.
I was excited about getting the MEIDI bluetooth car adapter with remote because it boasted the ability to do two things at once; charge my phone and stream music from my phone to the radio in my old but fully functional car.The MEIDI came in a nice package, with a sturdy and good looking transmitter that plugs into a cigarette lighter, a couple of cables, and a small remote designed to attach to your steering wheel. That remote was a major problem. The idea seemed simple. You plug the transmitter into your cigarette lighter, and, if you want, a cable into the charging outlet. (That cable goes to your phone and keeps it charged.) Then you find an open FM frequency on your car radio. Next you use the small remote, (now attached to your steering wheel) to scan FM frequencies until the two match up. The audio from your phone is then sent to the transmitter, then to the radio.Simple, right? Well, not so simple. Although I followed the instructions explicitly, I couldn't get the small remote to communicate with the transmitter. It stayed on 88.1, (see image) the default frequency that comes up when the transmitter if first plugged into your cigarette lighter. So I tuned my radio to 88.1 The sound that came through flat and full of static. I followed the procedure to move through the FM band, but the remote would not move off 88.1NOTE: The kit comes with a tiny little tool, about the size of a paper clip. DON'T lose that, because without it you might not be able to open the small remote and check the battery. When I couldn't get the remote to work at all, I thought, maybe the battery's bad. I opened the little drawer on the remote. Now, there's no indication on either the remote itself or the instructions--are you listening MEIDI--as to how to seat the battery. That is, how to seat it so it makes the right connection with the remote. And maybe it doesn't make any difference, I don't know because there's no reference to that in the instructions. So, I replaced the battery and tried seating it both ways. That made the remote respond to the transmitter, but no sooner than it started to respond, it froze, on 89.2 And the sound was worse; full of crackling and distortion because that frequency was being used by a nearby radio station. All in all a frustrating experience.Either the device I got was defective or the whole design is bad. I don't know. All I know is the idea of having a small remote apart from the transmitter might not be such a good one. I realize that it's designed to prevent distracted driving but it's much more distracting when the damn thing fails to work. Maybe we should pull over and activate devices like this from the side of the road, or our driveways. One other thing: when it did work on the default frequency of 88.1, the phone volume had to be turned way up to get an adequate signal to the car radio. Then, when a call came in and I fielded it-- another awkward procedure-- the sound on the call was barely audible.

Needs more information
The frequency is changed by press and hold the mic button on the remote then will blink and use the forward and back to change. I found better frequencies but not great there’s still a little beep when a track changes or the audio is low but not very noticeable. I was about to return it if it wasn’t for figuring this out. OK design, manual needs more info. I wouldn’t recommend, unless you really wanted the remote accessory that is useful. Another thing, Siri does not hear you, I tried speaking as loud as I coul but it doesn’t pickup words. This is probably a design issue with the remote’s mic.

super small and easy to use
Got this just as I was leaving the house, so took a minute (literally) to set up before I left. Easy to use, great clarity in audio for my old car factory system. Glad they include the little tool to open the battery slot on the remote. I haven't tried the USB ports yet, but I have plenty of room around the ports to have access, so not too worried about them working.Three things that prevent this from getting five stars. I need to see if there is a way to turn down the brightness of the LED ring. It's just a little too bright for my taste while driving at night. I do kind of wish the remote had lit button pad, but that's pretty much a nice-to-have. It looks like it should, but doesn't. I figure if I use it regularly, I'll get to know which button is which pretty quickly. Last and more important is audio control from the remote. Seems like kind of basic, especially since you can stop/start the music from the remote.

The remote did not work.
The media could not be loaded. This FM transmitter does not have any buttons on it for controls. They are all in the remote. Out of the box, my remote did not work. I removed the plastic battery cover from within the remote and I even tried replacing the battery. Still nothing. I tried to use it on the FM station that it was on out of the box and it did not go well. The FM transmitter had a bunch of static in the signal and did not go very far. I tried it in three different vehicles and it was the same result. I have used a bunch of transmitters and this one is definitely low quality. I would not recommend buying this product.

Nice idea but doesn't work
This Bluetooth Car Adapter with Remote did not work properly. The base unit activates and can be connected via BT to the phone. The unit frequency is set at 88.1 and you can transmit music from your phone. Because the remote does not work you can't change frequencies, use a USB or change channels. The remote comes with a 2032 battery. I replaced it with a fresh one but it didn't help. Too bad it didn't work, it would have been a nice addition to my work truck.

Sound quality is not that good
This product has a conception which truly makes it a wonderful choice. Nevertheless, it fails when in underground parking, and it is even suggested in the user’s manual to change the fm frequency, which I did and had no good result. You keep hearing static and fuzzy noise.
