Wanted tells the story of young Bronco Charlie as he bravely rides for the Pony Express his very first time. Despite the many obstacles he encounters along the way — both real and imagined — he ultimately succeeds. This is a valuable book for children ages 5 to 9, lower school teachers of the Wild West and the Pony Express, and fans of historical fiction in general. My two nieces not only loved the story but learned a lot historically. I definitely recommend this one!
